Without a specific and drastic intervention to prevent the spread of the v***s, and absent a v*****e to stop the k*****g, the deadly v***s would run unchecked through the US population of 325 million people. Herd immunity would be achieved when 70% of the population became infected. Hundreds of thousands of Americans would be dead along with the economy. Measures taken now to prevent the spread of the v***s until a v*****e is discovered is a necessary step to take to save the people and the economy. Unfortunately for us, we are stuck with a stupid president who denies the problem exists and doesn't care if people are dying in large numbers. The only numbers that get his attention are poll numbers. The poll numbers lately are looking bad for the GOP. Even some of Trump's loyal warriors are looking to Dump Trump.

Trump cannot stop the v***s but he could try to stop the spread by following his own White House Guidelines, encouraging all sates to comply and setting a good example. He did none of these. When he saw the stock market drop and his own poll numbers fall, he dropped all pretense of caring about people getting sick and dying and focused his full attention on opening the economy and getting reelected.
