Yes. It probably actually started with the arson at Notre Dame.

You don’t think it all started earlier? I believe this has been building for decades! We have been too complacent. We allowed Rowe vs Wade to change our opinion of murder, we allowed homosexuals to dictate over the knowledge we had from the Holy Bible. We allowed people on welfare to dictate too much in the name of political correctness. PC is the noose around our necks.

Lee surrendered in his immaculate uniform to a slovenly Grant. Such humiliation !
But Lee gave us Arlington Cemetery where our honored dead are buried.

Grant and Lee are two of the greatest military leaders in American History. Both made great mistakes, but both had strategic views of the war, that others at the time lacked. Grant was the mastermind of the overall, total warfare the Union finally waged to win. Lee understood what Grant was doing before others in the Confederacy did, but he simply lacked the resources to stop Grant.

Both men also had to deal with backstabbers, particularly Grant. There were better tactical generals in the Union Army than Grant, but nobody else could have navigated the political mine field that Grant had to. Grant's great quality was stubbornness. Lee recognized that it made Grant far more dangerous than the previous Generals he had faced.

Yes, I do believe it started decades ago. I meant that Notre Dame was the first icon destroyed. The first shot across the bow, so to speak.

Our dear leaders are allowing it. Suddenly leaders are caving right and left. They are not paying the price. We little peons didn't cave. Our grand puhbahs are using the r****m crisis to pull all kinds of crap. Ever notice that there is always a new crisis ? G****l W*****g, C***D, and now r****m. A few years ago we didn't have Gay Marriage, T*********red Men competing directly against women in track and field, and using ladies rest rooms.

Crap is always being rammed down our throats. We did not v**e for it. My kids and their spouses are brain dead guilty white i***ts going along with it all. I had hoped they would wait at least until I had passed away before they turned my country into Venezuela.

son of witless,

your last paragraph says it all, my kid is married (almost) to a middle-brow chick, while working on his dissertation in philosophy.

Yet he freely acknowledges that Bergson, Kirkegaard, Nietszche and others are "thought provoking", while my
missiles are just "provocative" of his anger, mainly because I use some rhetorical tricks known to humanity from the time of Cicero, not to mention the Bhavata Gita or the Holy Bible.

I also use some quotes from Samuel Clemens and Yogi Berra to provoke him some more, but he is, after all, a graduate student, fully capable to take it in stride. Wrong !

My son in laws are quite different. The one never went to college and as far as I know is not political at all. He is too busy making a living to care. The other spent a lot of time in college and is pretty left wing, yet from time to time as he ages I see hints that my beneficial right wing influence is wearing him down.

He has a sense of humor, and understands the hypocrisy of his own positions, but his hatred of President Trump, trumps all else. He has been amazingly muted during this C***d time, while all of the other Bat Crap crazies blame my boy Donald for every little thing.
