It is strictly Liberal vs. Conservative. Liberals want mandates and government control. Conservatives do not. But human nature being what it is, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I don’t need to my niece works at a big hospital and she tells me it’s overblown and I haven’t worn a mask and I go around everyday to my clients and I never get sick.
