Now, if you’re paying attention, you see why I’ve been disturbed about the freedom of the Chinese people in Hong Kong. Quiet protests being answered with tear gas and heavy duty hosing etc. I h**e that the British didn’t renew their lease on Hong Kong and left those people to this end. They new freedom for generations and now this Draconian law! We may be facing a similar fate and no one will weep for us. As it stands now, we aren’t even defending ourselves against anarchy. B*M is one of the wealthiest organizations on the face of this earth. They’ve used r****m to their advantage and like sheep we’ve allowed them to do this to us. Now that Civil War and Revolutionary historical figures have been brought down or defaced, they are wanting Booker T. Washington and other B****s to join MLK statues. Maybe we can rewrite history altogether. This has gone way too far. If you’re not disgusted, I’m disgusted enough for all of us. S***ery did NOT begin or END here. The world seems to have forgotten this fact.

We don’t even own a gun. Retired military with no gun. We’ve been discussing the purchase of one. My husband had heart surgery this morning so the gun will have to wait.

One silver lining here, hopefully in this case as well is the penchant we have, collectively, as Americans to tolerate only so much encroachment into our security and our liberty before we say "enough is enough!" and hit back.

We demonstrated that when we elected Donald Trump -- the establishment politicians and their swamp critters had allowed things to go too far, and we said "enough is enough!"

Now the far left, embodied by the Silicon Valley Gang, the ACLU, SPLC, B*M, A****a et al, with a not so subtle nod and wink from Pelosi's House of Representatives and the Democrats in the Senate and a goodly degree of rabble rousing from the mainstream media, together with a number of city and state politicians on a local level, have pushed us into a national situation that poses a clear and present danger to America and all we hold dear about this great republic.

The l*****ts who are directly involved and the misguided souls who support this tragic conglomeration of destructive events have blown themselves up to a false belief that they speak for a majority of Americans -- and also wrongly, a majority of the b****s they purport to represent.

The reality is that most Americans are shaking our heads, totally appalled by what we see happening in our large cities, from the violence, l**ting, vandalism, astronomic rise in crime, spectacles like the Seattle debacle and the support it all receives, as much from lack of condemning it as justification of it all, from the Democrats.

I expect that the blowback from the average American this November will be harsh, that despite all the rhetoric from the MSM, the pandering by Democrats in Congress and numerous corporations and the many misleading polls showing massive approval where little exists and lack of approval where it is massive, the Democrats, who seem clueless that the more they shovel, the deeper their grave gets, will face a severe setback.

Look for two Republican majorities that will not forget the havoc created by Pelosi's House and a re-e******n of President Trump, who, without further interference from a hostile House, will be freed up to stuff the left back under their stone.

I’m praying for Trumps re-e******n, but I don’t think things will be much better with the Democrats unless we get rid of AOC and the Muslims. The donkeys are already inventing more gossip to investigate. Until they’re cut down and Kevin McCarthy replaces Nancy Pelosi, it will be more of the same. We must overload the House and Senate with REAL Republicans.

The British in Hong Kong did not have an option to renew the lease. As I understand it, it was a 99 year sundown lease. Meaning after 99 years Hong Kong goes back to previous owners.
The problems they’re having is because mainland China wants to claim ownership even though they never were. Hong Kong was a republic. Independent from china.

Agreed, which is why, since there are no term limits in Congress, people need to get away from "the name you know" v****g and start examining past performances rather than v**e based on empty political blurb.

It never fails to make me scratch my head when I see some of these do-nothing Republicans getting re-elected for the zillionth time.

In 2006, the GOP lost 12 year majorities in both the House and Senate because during the entire dozen years, six of them with a Republican president, the country kept moving to the left.

Simply put, too many Republican political careerists don't have any spine, and even when they have the power of a majority behind them they let the Democrats walk all over them.

That demographic needs to change. Given what's been happening around the U.S. of late and the crap that's been coming out of the House these last 3+ years, I see more Americans doing as Thomas Jefferson prescribed and beginning to look over the shoulders of these folks to see exactly what it is they're doing on our behalf.
