First of all, it was car 54; secondly, did you bother to read the article or just pick up on a headline on Facebook?
He was a brain damaged quadriplegic whose guardianship was being fought over and so temporarily held by an eldercare facility. The hospital SUGGESTED that since treatment would not advance the quality of his life, they would opt against treatment. The eldercare facility as guardian directed the hospital not to treat him.
What the President does not need to do is generate more fear and panic. Acting as he is is entirely appropriate.
