In 1980 the Middle Class had amassed at least $3Trillion in wealth.
Wealth that they worked hard and long for, sacrificing along the way thinking they had a promise things would get better.
Partly the American Dream and partly a reasonable expectation that hard work and a stick to itiveness would be a benefit in your future.

If you check on the Amendments you will see where most of them freeing the b****s not one Democrat v**ed FOR them, all the members of congrees that where Republicans v**ed for and passed there right to v**e. The Democrat-controlled Congress for 50+ years, during that time they pushed income tax up to 98% for the upper bracket, Jack Kennedy cut taxes in 1960 to 38% causing the economy to take off.
