Mentally, replace everything before “U.S. Intelligence Says” with “Blah Blah Blah, we’re probably lying”

"Russia Secretly Offered Afghan Militants Bounties to K**l Troops, U.S. Intelligence Says", blares the latest v***l headline from The New York Times. New York Time's unnamed sources allege that the GRU (the foreign military-intelligence agency of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for k*****g coalition forces in Afghanistan — including targeting American troops", and that the Trump administration has known this for months.

To be clear, this is journalistic malpractice. Mainstream media outlets which publish anonymous intelligence claims with no proof are just publishing CIA press releases disguised as news. They're just telling you to believe what sociopathic intelligence agencies want you to believe under the false guise of impartial and responsible reporting. This practice has become ubiquitous throughout mainstream news publications, but that doesn't make it any less immoral.

Whenever one sees a news headline ending in "US Intelligence Says", one should always mentally replace everything that comes before it with "Blah blah blah we're probably lying".

In a post-Iraq invasion world, followed by 3 1/2 years of false charges against this administration, the only correct response to unproven anonymous claims about a rival government by intelligence agencies from the US or its allies is to assume that they are lying until you are provided with a mountain of independently verifiable evidence to the contrary.

The deep state operating within U.S. Intelligence has far too extensive a record of lying about these things for any other response to be justified as rational, and its intelligence agencies has consistently played a foundational role in those lies.

The U.S. intelligence community was shocked when the ‘NY Times’ posted a f**e news story claiming Russia paid the Taliban to k**l Americans.

Members of the U.S. intelligence community were shocked last Friday when the New York Times posted a f**e news story claiming that Russia paid the Taliban a bounty for every American they k**led.

But almost immediately, nearly every intelligence agency on all sides of the issue claimed that the story was false. Even the Taliban has debunked it!

The NYT story was published on June 26, and entitled, “Russia Secretly Offered Afghan Militants Bounties to K**l U.S. Troops, Intelligence Says.”

In the f**e news, the Times said that an “anonymous source” inside the U.S. intel community told them that Russia hoped “to destabilize the West or take revenge on turncoats, had covertly offered rewards for successful attacks last year.”

The paper also claimed that both President Trump and Vice President Pence were told about this bounty system for dead Americans.

But the Taliban was the first to refute the idea.

Even in the paper’s article, the Taliban’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said they had no “such relations with any intelligence agency.” He labeled the accusation as an attempt to “defame” the Taliban.

“These kinds of deals with the Russian intelligence agency are baseless — our target k*****gs and assassinations were ongoing in years before, and we did it on our own resources,” Mujahid insisted. “That changed after our deal with the Americans, and their lives are secure and we don’t attack them.”

The Russians also came out saying they had no such program.

As for Trump, he said he’s never taken a briefing on any such Russian program.

Trump lied about this as he does about so many things. Bolton confirmed that Trump was given a briefing about the Russian bounty, did not take any action and lies about it.

Maybe Bolton was friends with your mother? Maybe Bolton & trump? Maybe fighting over her was the reason for the breakup? Pretty low comment, like yours and many others. Hope it gives you pause.

John Bolton's current mission is to sell his mendacious book of unt***hs which is designed to destroy President Trump's political life as retribution for being fired.

He is definitely not a reputable or reliable witness.
