They speak truly who say that the existence of the State of Israel today is a direct fulfillment of the prophecy of Israel.

Prophecy Fulfilled by Israel – Summary

"About the time of the End, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamor and opposition." [Sir Isaac Newton, 1642 – 1747]

Some claim that modern Israel is a special nation amongst the nations of the world. And they claim that Israel will have an increasing role in the world as we near the end of this age.

Prophecy fulfilled by Israel is a good test of these claims, and we need look no further back than the 20th century. During this time there are at least FIVE prophecies about Israel that have clearly been fulfilled:
1) the return of Jerusalem to the Jews,
2) the return of millions of Jews to their promised land,
3) the rebirth of the Jewish nation,
4) the protection of Israel against aggressors, and
5) the blessing of the land of Israel.

1917: General Allenby liberated Jerusalem from the rule of the Turkish Ottoman Empire.

1957: Soldiers celebrated at the Western Wall, after recapturing Jerusalem, 1967.

1. Prophecy Fulfilled: Jerusalem and the Times of the Gentiles

Historically, Jerusalem was under Jewish rule until the invasion of Judah and Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar around 600 BC, link. Although some Jews returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile, Jerusalem was always under some form of Gentile rule until the 20th century. Then, in 1917, things started to change when General Allenby liberated Jerusalem from Turkish rule. Jerusalem then came under the 1922 League of Nations (British) Mandate for Palestine – a mandate to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Scroll on 50 years and we see Jerusalem being fully liberated from Gentile rule after the 1967 6-Day War. At this point, all of Jerusalem came under Jewish rule for the first time in some 2,500 years and Jesus’ prophecy was fulfilled:

Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:24)

2. Prophecy Fulfilled: the In-gathering of Jews from the Nations

In just 100 years the Jewish population of Israel has risen an amazing 7,700 percent (see Aliyah). Why this mass immigration to Israel? It is a fulfillment of prophecies which say that God will take His people from all the nations and bring them back into their own land (as promised to Abraham).

Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone … and bring them into their own land (Ezekiel 37:21)

Jews are coming from all over the world, from wherever they have been scattered among the nations. The first wave of immigration started in 1882 and particularly involved Jews from Russia and Romania. By 2008 the number of Jews living in Israel was more than any other country since the year 70 A.D.

Why this return? It is an end-time sign to the nations that God is about to intervene in world affairs:

He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:12)

3. Prophecy Fulfilled: Israel – A Nation Born in a Day

Many prophecies foresaw the end-time gathering of the nation Israel from out of the Gentile nations – they were to come from the east and the west, the north and the south.

This has happened over the last 100 years: in 1915 there were just 83,000 Jews in Palestine but this increased to over 6.2 million Jews in 2015, link, corresponding to an amazing 7400% increase! In comparison, over the same period the UK population increased just 55%. Equally amazing is the fact that the nation Israel was “born in a day” when the State of Israel was declared on 14 May 1948. This was fulfillment of prophecy:

Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? (Isaiah 66:8)

4. Prophecy Fulfilled: Israel is the Apple of God’s Eye (ISIS don’t Touch!)
prophecy fulfilled by Israel

In 1967 the armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon (and later Iraq) attacked Israel with the goal “to wipe Israel off the map”. Israel defeated the attack in just 6 days even though the Arab armies had huge superiority in armour, aircraft and troops. After the war Israel held the Sinai, the Golan Heights, Gaza, the West Bank and all of Jerusalem. In fact, the area controlled by Israel after this war was the same area allotted to Israel for Jewish settlement under the 1922 Palestine Mandate!

In 1973 Egypt and Syria launched a coordinated attack on Israel in an attempt to win back territory lost in the 6-Day War. Iraqi forces soon joined the war, and Syria received support from Jordan. The Arab armies used up-to-date Soviet weaponry. The war was launched on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar when Israel is at rest and prayer, link. This took Israeli Defense Forces by surprise and Israeli causalities were heavy. Nevertheless, after just 20 days Egypt and Syria suffered military defeat.

In 2016 Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) said their new Arrow 3 anti-ballistic missile is capable of intercepting weapons bearing chemical, biological or nuclear warheads while they are still close to their launch pads. In other words, if a missile is launched from Iran it will fall on Iran!

These wartime victories against all odds, and superior anti-missile technologies are seen as fulfilled prophecy:

Whoever assails you will fall because of you … no weapon that is formed against you will prosper. (Isaiah 54:15,17)
I will be a wall of fire around her … he who touches you, touches the apple of (the Lord’s) eye. (Zechariah 2:5,8)

Storm Cloud 'Sent by God' Shields Israel from ISIS

Did God Protect Israel against ISIS?

Early December 2016: Amidst increasing ISIS activity on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, Israeli soldiers stationed there reported that a literal pillar of cloud descended on the border. Reports say the strange storm (dust and rain) stopped on the border of Syria and was ‘unable’ to enter Israel’s Golan Heights area. It seems the storm cloud put a barrier between Israel and ISIS. Many believe God intervened on behalf of Israel to prevent ISIS from being able to enter Israel.

A storm cloud on the border between Syria and Israel appears to stall completely in a recent video, providing a shield to protect the nation of Israel.

Some are comparing the phenomenon to a biblical dust cloud, saying the massive cloud was 'sent by God' to act as a barrier between Israel and ISIS.

Reports say the storm stopped on the border of Syria and was 'unable' to enter Israel's Golan Heights area.

They say the storm was an act of God or 'divine intervention' to protect Israelis from the terror group.

Israel News Online uploaded the original footage of the storm to Facebook.

"A weather phenomenon occurred at 8am Thursday on the other side of the Syrian border, in the same place where ISIS attacked Israel," the post read.

There is a still photo of the dustcloud on Israel's border below.

"As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever," another Facebook user posted, quoting Psalm 125:2.

One social media user commented on the post saying, "Too awesome for words. This is what God did to protect the Israelites from the Egyptians. This is not only a witness to the Israelites but to everyone who does not know Him."

"May this initiate a revival everywhere."

Tomorrow may be the big day when Israel establishes sovereignty over Judea and Samaria and control all the land within its borders. July 1st and 4th two big days. If it took three extra days I wouldn't be surprised either? Just another bond between brothers that love one another. I liken the symbolism to David and Johnathan.

Rocket Man aka Lil Kim hasn't been seen in a while. Sister blew up an empty building in S. Korea and no real response. China has taken hit after hit for several months now and then a huge flood that will last another eight days. A new revival and maybe a new age is dawning or being birthed. The Sauds have cleaned house and are making peace. Maybe Iran will too before much longer. Venezuela can't be that far behind. Maybe we can aid Mexico and S. America in rolling up the cartels we know where many labs are already that produce Meth and Fentanyl. All systems are looking green or turning green to me.

I tried to fulfill the assignment you gave me, bahmer...

Sir Isaac Newton, (December 25, 1642 - March 20, 1726/27), was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, and author (described in his own day as a "natural philosopher") who is widely recognized as one of the most influential scientists of all time and as a key figure in the scientific revolution.

Sir Isaac Newton predicted that Israel would be reborn as a nation in 1950, missing the actual date of 1948 by only two years. He has set 2060 as the year of Jesus's 2nd coming.

Sir Isaac Newton confirmed that the ancient biblical year of the Hebrews, Babylonians, and Egyptians had only 360 days. Newton wrote in the Encyclopaedia Britannica (6th ed) that “all nations, before the just length of the solar year was known, … in making calendars for their festivals, they reckoned thirty days to a lunar month, and twelve lunar months to a year, taking the nearest round numbers, whence came the division of the ecliptic into 360 degrees.”

The length of a biblical – prophetic year is 360 days: not the 365.25 days of our modern Julian calendar solar year. In ancient biblical times, the Jewish year was a lunar-solar year, with 12 months of 30 days each, which contained only 360 days. The modern solar-calendar year contains 365.25 days. An article on Chronology in the Encyclopedia Britannica, states that Abraham continued to use the 360-day year of his Babylonian homeland when he migrated to Canaan

In Newton’s day, the nation of Israel did not exist. Nevertheless as Newton studied end-time prophecy, he realized Israel’s restoration as a nation was a critical sign post to the end of the world.

In his commentary on the Book of Revelation, Newton wrote of “the ruin of the wicked nations, the end of weeping and of all troubles, the return of the Jews (from) captivity and their setting up of a flourishing and everlasting kingdom.”

“At that time is also predicted the end of the king of the North, the fall of the great Apostasy, the return of the Jewish captivity and the great tribulation…” he added.

The other end-times writers of Newton’s day also believed Israel needed to be restored, but predicted it would happen within the 17th or 18th century. Newton, based on his study, said it would not happen until later, actually giving the year of 1950.

Newton’s prediction, of course, proved true within two years, and the Jews were restored to the Promised Land two centuries later with the setting up of the nation of Israel, by the United Nations, on May 14, 1948.

Newton implored all seeking for truth to not trust the opinion of any man, saying:

“Let me therefore beg of thee not to trust to the opinion of any man concerning these things, for so it is great odds but thou shalt be deceived. Much less oughtest thou to rely upon the judgment of the multitude, for so thou shalt certainly be deceived. But search the scriptures thy self & that by frequent reading & constant meditation upon what thou readest, & earnest prayer to God to enlighten thine understanding if thou desirest to find the truth.”

Newton knew that before Christ returned to the earth the truth would be reestablished on the earth.

“The 7th Trumpet at which time ceases & the mystery of God is finished (Revelation 10:6, 7) & the Kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of Christ for ever & the dead here judged & saints rewarded.”

Just before this will happen, Newton believed, there will be an universal preaching of the Gospel throughout the world:

“After the greatest decay of religion there is to be an universal preaching of the Gospel immediately before the seventh Trumpet … But this is not yet fulfilled; there has been nothing done in the world like it, & therefore it is to come."

Sir Isaac Newton formulated the law of gravity and the law of motion thereby explaining the movement of the planets, moons and stars due to gravitational pull of larger bodies. It radically transformed man’s approach to astronomy. He also created Calculus.

“A man may imagine things that are false, but he can only understand things that are true.” -Isaac Newton

But Newton was also an ardent Christian and had a tremendous interest in end-times theology. He spent hours researching the Bible on the second coming of Jesus Christ.

This curious side of Newton was unveiled in a display of Newton’s writings at the University of Jerusalem entitled “Newton’s Secrets.” It was an odd combination — Hebrew scholars analyzing Christian prophecy.

A truckload of Newton’s writings and letters — located in the house of the Earl of Portsmouth one of Newton’s heirs — was auctioned off in 1936. English economist John Maynard Keynes purchased the document and then willed them to King’s college in England and to Abraham Shalom Yahuda, a Jewish Oriental studies scholar.

They later bequeathed them to the state of Israel.

Isaac Newton wrote over 1.3 million words on the prophecies of the Bible and Church History. While Newton’s spectacular scientific achievements have received universal acclaim, his theological writings, during his lifetime, received worldly criticism.

Newton’s theology was as brilliant as his science, and an extension of his search for truth regardless of the prevailing thought of his day.

Newton was an Anglican (Church of England), devoted to his Christian faith. He searched the Scriptures and did an intense study of the early writers of Christian history.

Willaim Stukely wrote of Newton: “No man in England read the Bible more carefully than he did.”

Isaac Newton believed the Bible predicted a general apostasy of the Christian Church.

Newton did an extensive study on the prophecies of the book of Daniel and Revelations. In his preface to this work, he stated that he would “show that the Religion of the Beast is Christianity corrupted.”

“There are more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history”– Isaac Newton

Newton believed that every one should seek the truth for themselves, through scripture and by asking God.

Newton’s fame came through his great scientific achievements. However, the Bible and not nature had been Isaac Newton’s greatest passion. He devoted more time to Scripture than to science. He said, “I have a fundamental belief in the Bible as the Word of God, written by those who were inspired. I study the Bible daily.”

"Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who sets the planets in motion."
Isaac Newton

But, this is the End Times...

Cheerful, upbeat news has been so rare this year, I'm not sure whether I should applaud, or sit in stunned silence, awaiting the dropping of a big shoe! ...or another big shoe.

It does look as if the annexation of Judea and Samaria is a Go! It shouldn't be that hard to claim land that has been yours for at least 4,000 years, but for Israel nothing is ever simple or easy.

That is because the powers of darkness are aligned against her, and 95% of the world is marching in lockstep behind them, opposed to Israel without understanding, legitimate cause or substance.

May Israel rejoice, and praise their God, Yahweh, who has returned a piece of their sovereign soil to them.

Addendum:

"He said: 'Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.'" (2nd Chronicles 20:15)

Tomorrow may be the big day when Israel establishe... (show quote)
