I've noticed they there seems to be a news black out on any background concerning the guy they arrested for the vandalism of the 10 Commandments Monument. If he had k**led a Black Person or defaced some C*******t icon, or was wearing a MAGA hat, or was once a Tea Party member, we would have his whole life history, and a detailed anal exam by now.

About the establishment of a religion, The Constitution ONLY states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..." That clause has been used to drive any mention of God out of all public venues.
That started with the so-called 'great' Chief Justice John Marshall, who took upon himself and his court to impose all of the limitations of the powers of Congress & the federal government on the states. In the process, he upended the historical fact that The Constitution was intended to limit the power of the central government.
Marshall was also a party to the decision rendered in Marbury vs. Madison. Today, that would have brought a censure and maybe disbarment from a bar association and probably should have then. But because he grabbed power & used it in a way that progressives like, he was 'great.'
