Anyone know how us everyday Tom's and Mary's can FORCE our countries laws upon those in Washington who think they are God's if not near God's and make them be accountable for their sins in a court of law, thereby bringing them to justice? We have people at the highest levels of government trying to sell America down the drain and ruin our way of life as we know it. They are manipulating laws to suit themselves and bypassing other laws altogether; AND WORST OF ALL THEY ARE TRASHING THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND ALL OF IT'S AMENDMENTS. They think the "Bill of Rights" is OLD and OUT DATED, is only suited for those times in which it was written. They believe it is no longer for the people but for themselves to use, but they think of it as their "Bill of Mights", to force their might and their will upon the masses in our beloved country. Wish about three fourths of the people would wake up and join together to stop this madness and TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK. Only an absolute i***t would think that any gun, any rocket launcher, any bomb, any cannon, any tank, any aircraft, any weapon at all, pen knife, finger nail clippers, or wh**ever the TSA deems as dangerous could harm anyone by itself!!! Loaded or unloaded makes no difference until a human being with a brain gets behind it and intends to use it in some fashion or another. They are all just tools, like a drill motor, a hacksaw, chainsaw, hammer, screwdriver or anything else that we have devised to do a job. When will our politicians WAKE UP and start addressing the real cause of CRIME, HUMAN BEINGS!!! Crime has existed since the very first when Kayne stuck down his brother Abel. I will have to agree with lescot he knows what he is talking about. There is no magic gun that just goes off by itself thay ALL need a HUMIN BEING to pull the trigger.
We need to help the sick people that do somehow get their hands on a gun. Background checks only can do so mush people need to be more responsible and police themselves if that does not work then make sure thay can't get a firearm.

Lescot, I'll join you in a heartbeat if we can come up with a single workable solution. Some have suggested we have lost our moral center, and I agree, but they have also said the answer to your question is to get back into church - IF we do ONLY that, we may only have a couple of weeks to do just that. What we need is something NOW, not 2 weeks from now, certainly not 2 months from now.

I think what we need is ACTION, ACTION THAT MAY GET SOMEONE'S ATTENTION and draw the public's attention, but NOT something that will land us in jail......or in a cemetery.

I wonder if the solution we seek might be found with a law enforcement person of some rank, such as a federal marshall(?), who could simply arrest those whom we KNOW have committed criminal if not treasonous acts? Does anyone have that authority (federal marshalls)? In addition to the authority, he must also be one of the bravest persons in the world because our government will crucify him. We no longer have a proper, honest government. We have a city of elected criminals running our country, including the highest law enforcement position in the nation, the Attorney General. And they have infected, or tried to infect, the largest body of warriors in the world: the United States military. They have tried to buddy up with our local law enforcement people, and apparently some of the locals are in high cotton what with all the attention.

Well, if one should arrest a DC politician criminal, where is the prosecutor with the guts to take and prosecute the case? And if we find a prosecutor with guts, where then do we find a judge with any integrity + guts? Then, how do we keep the criminals' enablers off the jury?

I don't think that is the answer. Nor can one rely on the tainted, rotten b****t box that is so manhandled as to be useless. Frankly, staying within legalities (written by lawyers, judged by lawyers and prosecuted by lawyers), we, the people, are total s***es with no legal recourses when dealing with a corrupt government. LEGAL methods don't work when the people administering "justice" do not do so legally, when they have all the means of forcing their will and we have no way of fighting back legally. And our representation and our courts have failed us miserably - have become more of a detriment than a solution. In other words, our Constitution works ONLY when the people running our government are honorable people. Have you seen any of those creatures lately? Have you seen any during your lifetime?

My honest opinion is that we, the people, are screwed as long as we remain within the legal parameters and make no waves and take no risks. I don't advocate open r*******n because it would hurt us worse than it would hurt the corrupt. And we are already hurting enough because of the corrupt - we don't need more hurt, but neither do we want to live under oppression, which is where we are headed and already mostly there.

I h**e to sound so negative, but I've been thinking about these issues for years, and have come up with no solutions but possibly one, and it is unspeakable.

I've always been of the opinion that the greatest weapon "we, the people" have is our v**e. However, with the fraud and manipulation of the media, that is probably not true anymore. If people stuck together and v**ed these self-serving, corrupt politicians out of office, that would send a strong message to Congress and the POTUS that we are FED UP with the bulls--t! We have to figure a way to make all politicians abide by the same laws and rules they make for everyone else. That includes removing ALL the "special exemptions" they get for serving. No lifetime social security for one term in office, no "legalized insider trading", no v****g themselves raises, no special exemption from Obamacare, they should have to work 5 days week, 8 hrs. a day, etc. Also, we should draft an amendment that makes it ILLEGAL for members of Congress to make any profit that was a direct result of them holding a Congressional seat. Why else would anyone spend millions to secure a "job" that pays $172,000? There should also be term limits imposed and after their service, they should not get any more than 75% of their pay and no other benefits. If this happened, most people would not spend millions to get elected and "common" people would stand a chance of running for office.

As one of "We the People" I have seen many changes in the way our government works since I am now 76 years old. The current
main problem as I see it is the lack of honesty in the day to day
operations of our congress. I think most of them are nothing
more than legal thieves. I believe the best way to change
course is a constitutional convention, which will need to be
accomplished by 3/4 of the states demanding that it takes
place. One objective should be term limits, and the reason the
states must start this process is that congress will not v**e
itself out of office. I have already contacted the governor of
Virginia with my request, got no reply. I guess each states
citizens will need to take action individually, but I don't know
how to start this process. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

So someone wants to make politicians accountable? That will take a long time. Two ways come to mind- 1 wait until e******n time and work your tail off for the challenger. 2- Civil war. One takes too long and is not a insured way of getting the job done and the other would be called insurection and punishable underour constitution.

There use to be a third way under the Possy Comatotous which has been disbanded because of disuse and poitical actions in congress to protect their behinds.

The first way takes time and patients to accomplish and hard work and a conviction that incumbants are professionals who we need to get rid of at the poles. Politicians should never be in office more than one term.
