Trump’s only path to victory doesn’t depend on persuading Americans. It depends on v**er suppression, mass disinformation, foreign interference, and unabashed use of executive branch power to shape events, and perceptions. He still has the significant advantages of incumbency and, of being entirely untroubled by a moral conscience: the president will stop at nothing to cling to power. For the time being Trumps ego is destroying him and all Biden needs to do is egg him on. Let’s hope he hires someone like James Carville, a gentleman, but one who is willing to wallow in the mud with the scumbags in Trumps camp. Trump will not play by the rules and Biden’s team needs to take off the gloves.
