I think you should read the rest of the book, Jeff. The volume of the book (OT) is about Messiah/God. These prophecies are mainly contained in the books of Job-Malachi. I only read the KJV.

I have read through the entire Bible quite a few times . each time i learn more than the previous time . the prophets in the Old Testament all point to Christ Jesus as the sacrificial lamb of GOD , our creator . he can give Him any name he wants He is our creator .

I have read the OT about 100 times and I've read parts of it closer to 1000 times. I've read the NT three times. Jesus is an important figure in both the Bible and the world. He did not fulfill any messianic prophecy. What he did fulfill is prophecy about the modern day idol of Israel. An idol is the physical representation of a (dead) god. The symbol of Christianity is a crucifix, and the crucifixion is the be all and end all of Christianity. Everything in the OT that Jesus did not fulfill was "nailed to the cross". Colossians 2:14. God is the Judge, the Lawgiver, and the King. Isaiah 33:22. "I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images". Isaiah 42:8. What role does God the father play in your religion?
