Being from Russia myself , I say that America was,is and always will be the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!!!....
Seems like you & others from other countries care more about, probably know more about The Great American Experiment in government than 95% of the young people, academics w/ half a line of degrees, titles, do.
Thank you for your support on your country, which I have always lived in, been proud of. I hired a Russian woman years ago who could barely speak English, had a PhD in nuclear physics & could only get a job making cakes in a Kroger grocery store. I hired her as a Quality Manager for our Tier One automotive plant at top pay. She could not understand why, her 7 year old daughter who spoke perfect English explained it to her.
This man, knows a lot about your education, he knows how long it took. He thinks Quality Manager is an insult to you, but that is the only job he has available, he wants to help you get a job worthy of your capabilities. He he is saying to you, he will h**e losing you, but he wants you to leave, will help you leave. She had a hard time understanding that. Her daughter finally told her she did not know, asked me more questions. I asked them to have dinner at our house, to meet my wife because she has always been able to explain me than I have ever been able to explain myself.
Once she, her daughter, met my wife, I was ignored which I wanted to be. My wife showed her the minuscule library in my shop. My wife showed her the most secret tenant of my life. It is a small framed, quote of a message my Grandfather, Father, reminded me of many times, “Boy, you were born healthy, seem to have some common sense, you will always owe those less fortunate.”
That Russian lady is my hero. I don’t claim any credit for her success. She is CEO of a very successful company, she started, still owns, her daughter is taking the reins, called me a few months ago, asked if she could borrow my small framed quote to have duplicated to put on her desk. I told her certainly. When I sent it, I put a note on it, “Save some money, accept this as a present to your mother & you.”
