Reopening, a Trump Rally, and B*M Protesters have us think the worse is far behind us about this p******c, apparently flaunting all expert advice to the contrary. Maybe. But why ease precautions? What horrific price does it cost you to at least wear a mask? Can you find that really tyrannical? It is just common courtesy, like please and thank you. No sweet or a big deal.

You would think that wearing a mask is better than the alternative but both the left and the right are running around without their brains engaged. I see as usual you haven't been keeping up. Most masks are worse than useless, because even the N95 will not stop the C****a from spreading and the majority of masks worn by most people won't even slow it down. I know this is hard for both you and Kevyn, but try to keep up. The N95 mask, supposedly just about the best, will filter particles down to .3 microns. The C****a is .1 micron. This v***s can live for 2 hours as an aerosol. But don't worry; it will have traveled much further than 6 feet by that time, probably, where gravity will force it down onto the ground, or a floor, table, chair, etc, where it can live for up to 2 days,. depending on the surface. Reliance on masks that don't work give people a false sense of security and they tend to ignore the things that actually do some good, like liberal use of disinfectant.
Make no mistake; far more people than you seem to realize have been exposed to this v***s and the vast majority have a mild reaction, or no reaction. It is far more widespread than most realize, yet the death rates are far below predictions. I live in a county of about 50,000 residents and 10,000 t***sients who work here and live in a neighboring county. We have had a grand total of one C****a death. A little over 20 hospitalizations. Meanwhile, the plain old everyday flu that makes it's rounds every damn year has claimed four victims. This is the same flu that claimed over 118,000 victims last flu season, yet no one shut down anything.
Infections mean little. The important thing is the mortality rate. It is FAR below what most models have predicted. Much of Georgia's supposed increase in mortality comes from deaths that happened some time back and for some reason is just now getting published. These are not new deaths. Just newly published.

As I explained, most masks are worse than useless, rather than being the Holy Grail of Liberaldom. The C****a V***s in .1 micron in size, and even the N95 only filters out particles of .3 and larger. The majority of "protective" masks won't even slow the v***s down. It can live for 2 hours as an aerosol and travel much further than six feet. After it is forced onto a surface, be it ground, floor, table or wh**ever it can live for up to two days. People's misplaced faith in worthless masks cause them to ignore the liberal use of disinfectant which actually does some good.
I live in a county where shelter in place has been largely ignored. Out of some 50,000 residents and 10,000 or so t***sients who are employed here and live elsewhere we have had ONE death from C****a. There have been four from the plain old everyday flu that makes an appearance every year. The CDC has admitted that there may be as much as a ten percent o********ting of C****a deaths, as their policy has been to list C****a as a cause of death in any corpse that tests positive. If you are shot in the head or k**led in a car wreck, if you test positive it was C***d19 that caused your decease.

Yes you explained it twice and both times you were totally WRONG. Yes the mesh on the N-95 masks is .3 microns and the v***s is .1 micron. But the masks have multiple layers and the overlapping is what stops the .1 v***s from getting through. Apparently they are sticky and the fibers capture them quite easily.

If you have any question you should talk to any medical person you might know. The docs, nurses and other staff are not just wearing them as a fashion statement.

How about you stop spreading these lies that only hurt our country and prolong our recovery. People like you are a big part of the problem right now.

There are 100's and 100's of traffic laws and it'll cost you to break them, you must pay taxes on every &#$% thing you touch, you must jump through hoops to get on an airplane, you cannot take what doesn't belong to you, and a million more laws, rules and regulation you must obey....................................but being required to wear a mask is governmental tyranny.

The masks are very effective by significantly reducing the spread of particulate matter from the mouth and nose of the person wearing the mask. And while his micron measurement of the n-95 masks may be accurate at the margins they are effective for both the wearer and those exposed to the wearerfor the reasons you state. Without them most of our health care workers would be infected. What you fail to realize is that the mask denial nutters are members of a ‘death cult bent on an experiment in human sacrifice.

Great post. Masks have been proven to be at least somewhat effective. Those who falsely claim they aren't are indeed a big part of the problem - a big reason why we are where we are.
