Help me out here please.
I actually don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on with your answer for my question. I’ve been watching these demonstrations, r**ts, and l**ting now for a week. My Question is?
Just what is it those above mentioned groups want? And how will what they want be obtained?
I can only say the change to a more just and inclusive society depends on how much effort all Americans will put into it. If that makes any sense. It can't be demanded it has to be a volunteer effort or it will never happen.

Sounds good Tom, but just what is a more just and inclusive society and how do we achieve it?

The protestors are protesting unnecessary police violence. Floyd was on the ground and handcuffed, there was no need to sit on his neck for nine minutes on a knee. Unnecessary violence. The protesters hope to make police more humane.
B*M is a movement to bring attention to violence against black suspects. R****rs and l**ters are just criminals run amok.

That's a level headed response Mr. Tom.
I'll go with your answer on this one.

That's a nice answer coos. I think they want lots of free stuff. They want "black privilege." They want control. They want groveling and begging for forgiveness.
Let me tell you. My folks worked side by side with b****s in the fields of east Texas. My mom, 5.0 ft tall, 90 pounds, picked cotton with bleeding hands with my dad from sun up to sun down. Her take on the b****s was that they were afraid of everything and could not take pain.
My folks will yield no compensation, monetary, social, psychological, or what ever. Not will I.
We are equal. We have equal opportunity.
Time for all races to get to work.

No s**t Sherlock. So by l**ting and calling for defunding of police departments their message of unnecessary violence by police will be looked upon as making sense. That is perhaps the dumbest excuse for letting a group get away with destruction and stealing of property I've ever heard. B*M is a movement started by three anti-American Marxists and funded by George Soros, whose destruction of our capitalist society they freely admit is their goal. The dummies protesting and supporting B*M are just more useful i***ts.

Thank you- It is the only thing I can think of. Just live and let live and don't cause trouble for people who are not hurting you.. I don't know what else to do.

The answer is in all of us-How bad do we want it? treating people the way you want to be treated is about it.

Like I said Tom, sounds good but will never happen. The Golden Rule has been around forever. Most live their lives using this rule. So how does one bad cop, who is probably going to get his just dues (I pray) perpetrating a horrific act justify all the BS we are seeing now? I guess I want to know how defunding the police force makes the people in those neighborhoods any safer?

It doesn't make the honest citizens any safer. It makes the criminals safer.
Backwards........in my opinion.

Does seem that way. What person in their right mind wants no police but a criminal?

I'm glad I live where I do, Jim.
If they get what they want, dogs, gunpowder, and hot lead will prevail at my house.

Amen Arch. I need a dog. Have everything else. My three cats can't catch a squirrel. I bought survival food a while back simply because of the hurricane situations that creep up here now and again. So, I feel pretty safe. Having one of my generators wired into my fuse box this week.
