Greyfox,

Haven't you ever heard that old song, "Fairy Tales can come true it can happen to you, If your young at heart."

To me, sounds like this person wants representation similar to what they believe,no strings attached. The wording tells they care about their countries path it will follow. This was not wrote by a progressive.

Obviously, a lack of ability to kindly understand and refrain from providing the name of the person saying this totally escaped your notice. I wanted it to be about the thought not the person.

I am very sorry you feel that way, but I was taught if you use someone's quote you give credit to that person. As to my opinion on the quote, I think an informed v**er is the best v**er, butI do not think that the one who agrees with me is always the best one. For a number of years in Florida the best one running was not of my party, nor did I agree with all he stood for, but the person put up by my party was a piece of crap.

I was, also, taught to give credit. Somehow I believe Senator Lee would allow me the leeway, based upon my reason for using the quote, as well as knowing seeing his name would, possibly, invalidate a reasonable discussion of the thoughts in the quote.

I never v**e for a person i do not agree with in most situations---if its a p**********l v**e i will v**e for the Republican or Independent because i feel they will have enough quality around them.

Excellent response, and like so many profound things, concise, simple and clear. If I trust a person's character, where we may not agree will give me pause to look at my own stance. Even people of good character can make mistakes and or be misinformed but their character allows for rapport; they can and will change if they see their policy or actions to be not for the best. And at other times we will just agree to disagree, believing in their integrity.

I agree with the quote and the last part is very important. It's for that reason I did not v**e for Barak Obama.
