"The same people who convinced Americans to lock themselves inside for months for fear of a k**ler v***s have forsaken C****-** to urge us all to join nationwide protests. If anyone took them seriously before, those days are over.

Media, politicians and celebrities who spent the past three months lecturing Americans about the importance of staying home and keeping at least six feet away from all other humans lest they catch or spread the deadly c****av***s have suddenly piv**ed on a dime – seemingly as one – to cheering on those Americans defying their advice to pour into the streets and join nationwide protests against police brutality.

Wall-to-wall C****-** coverage gave way overnight to endless footage of police whaling on protesters, r****rs burning buildings and l**ting, and massive crowds in the streets of every major American city. Nary a word was spoken about social distancing, or lockdowns, or anything relating to the “new normal” we’d been ordered for months to understand was our only future."

Next question: what happens when there is no large spike in deaths attributible to CV-19 as a result of all these close personal contacts? Will the MSM finally admit that they have been played? I think not. Will the public finally see through this mascarade? Unfortunately, not enought.

One thing alot weren't paying attention anyway,the take back of the states people weren't listening. How many people while the media was saying stay home did they? It wasn't a total shut down some areas were still open how many people were wearing masks while being told to keep up the guidelines?
Yes MSM has been fair decent coverage before the Internet but now they are trying to stay alive, which means profit the story that sells is what is being reported.

I also noticed the absence of the wall-to-wall coverage of the c****av***s. MSM of course feeds the people's need for news, wherever it takes them. C***d statistics were getting a bit boring. Covering the protests against police brutality is much more volatile and interesting. And, of course, the political controversy is always present. If we can rely on the reporting of C***D cases and deaths following this period of thousands of people bumping into each other on the streets of our cities, we might discover something about the "New Normal."

All you need to do is search under news “social distancing and protest” and dozens of articles come up about the lack of social distancing and masks at protests. The sad thing is if the right wing nuts who violated emergency directives in their hair cut protests were arrested and charged as they should have been it would have set a good example for the current protestors.

I believe in the "all Trump's fault." part of your post. It remains to be seen if the v***s ran its course with many states continuing to report steady and massive increases in C***D cases and deaths.

The incubation period for c***d ** is around 5-14 days. If some predictions are right then we will see spikes in the illness in 1-2 weeks

The best way to learn about the numbers will be from the people who are taking care of the patients. Right now where I work the numbers are falling we still have two units dictated to c***d one Icu and one recovery , but the units they are in are the small units.Also some of the other units are still holding rooms with the negative air pressure which allows air to flow into hepa air pumps these are still housing patients. So when compared to this info we may be getting out , but the rooms are still being used and patients are still coming in. I guess time will tell.

The people taking care of the patients are the ones I would believe over any news media. They live it and know what’s going on, the media invents as they go along...
