No. Not against peaceful protestors. Against mobs, unlawful assemblies, r****rs, l**ters, and such. It is up to the protestors to be watchful within their own ranks to prevent anyone from inciting violence and nip it before it can lead others to do the same. Calmer heads will prevail when calmer heads control the protests. Both sides have an obligation to keep their ranks in line.
