A few years ago the apartment management was trying to make me take it down and I just plain refused and it's still up.

Good for you, PR, rock on. Our f**g is not an object of worship, an idol or a stage prop, it is the signature of who we are, and as "one nation, under God", it is with God's blessings that we honor, respect and care for it.

Today, Memorial Day, brings home the dear price Americans have paid to fly her.

I've never understood the reasoning behind the notion that expressing allegiance to our nation by honoring our f**g is idol worship, that this somehow damages or destroys our relationship with God.

JFlorio,

the various teachers unions and the so called "higher" learning institutions have become a 'fifth column' in this republic.

We, the taxpayers, are made unwitting accomplices in paying for this biased indoctrination, in K-12 through school taxes assessed on the property values, in the colleges and universities through the easily available student "loans" laden with interest upon repayment.

Voila, the capitalist system found the way to monetize indoctrination without making it look like coercion.

And now, we complain bitterly.

That's it in a nutshell, and it all really began when Jimmy Carter established the Department of Education - a political euphemism for a politburo indoctrination agency.

Matter of fact, back in the mid 80s, Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB journalist and information officer, defected through Canada and into the United States. In 1984, four years after the DOE came to be, Bezmenov gave a series of interviews on Soviet strategies and tactics in demoralizing a country's people and subverting their government, primarily the United States. He made it quite clear that a nation's youth were the primary targets and the education system was place to nail them.

You have that wrong, it has become a symbol of supporting Trump...He made it about if you love the country you have to love him, if you don't like him you cant like the country. Trump supporters were wearing shirts and flying the f**g as a symbol of his MAGA movement.

You simply would not wear a f**g shirt if you weren't saying you support Trump. You can dislike Trump and love the country, the two are not mutually exclusive except in little minds that can't understand complex concepts.

Love the country and f**g...dump trump is very appropriate.
