Chrissi your question is interesting. I'm not sure what I am, but I do realize that if you think you are left or right, then you will respond with left or right leaning ideals instead of responding with an open heart and open mind to the topic presented. I see a divide on this site. There are Obama supporters on this site that no matter what the topic is, they will defend Obama. And of course there are those that do not agree with Obama's policies and ideology, those are the "r****ts" on this site. I think I'm one of those although sometimes I agree with the Obama defenders on some topics. But I do have a good time in some of these discussions and I do get a lot of laughs and I do learn while hearing different perspectives. :)

I think the majority here could be labeled Right wingers. I disagree with Kirk's post there are left wingers, that defend Obama when they don't even mention Obama , they don't offer any new news or political slants , they just attract people and their posts that don't meet their l*****t views with slurs, name calling , (r****t) and attacking individuals.
It's rare that they offer any constructive post of information from inner-net sites at all.
I think, no one can keep up with the billions of sites and bits of information on the WWW net , so if I find something I think might be useful to others I post that for others.

If you watch the flow of a lot of these discussions you can discern when name calling and slurs begin. Some on here, basically that's all they do and some seem to never offer any pertinent discussion. Others get frustrated after a while and let loose. I don't know where I fit in but I have to say, shamefully, that I participate in slurs for sure. I do try to stay reserved until I figure the conversation has deteriorated to a slur fest. Either way you can't expect a whole lot of civility . It seems to me this site is definitely dominated by extreme conservative views, think tea party.

I think you should be more specific with the context of the question. In some definitions r****m has nothing to do with race but most do. I'm sure this is a baited question so let's get it out there. In terms of race it is the belief that a certain race is superior to another and voicing or publicly announcing said belief.

There are a wide range of political concepts on this site. Many subjects start out as well thought out topics and end up becoming name calling and insults. Often the same people show up on each thread with the same comments ranging from "why do you care, you are so stupid, this is sooo boring" which sounds a great deal like what you might hear from five year olds, not people who claim to be adults. Many people just label all who disagree with them as"r****ts, or homophobes" and there are others whose language is at best crude, and often obscene . Intermixed with those are a number of thoughtful people who, while you may seldom agree with them, at least present their views in a well thought out manner. Welcome to the site, you will be able to figure out before long who is who, and make up your own mind. If you have a spell checker available, please use it, some of us old fogies are more receptive to ideas if every other word is not misspelled, and at least occasionally it is nice to see a complete sentence or two.
