I just received a monthly news letter from Democrat Representative Quigley, 5th District, Il,
He goes on and on with the usual B. S, that any Rep sends to their district. Rep Quigley started out running for this District saying he would represent all of the District. Last I saw, he was rated the most Liberal member of the Ill. House representatives. He proves it all the time.
Here are some of the highlights and my responses. Enjoy.

***That's why last week, I returned to Washington, D.C., where House Democrats passed the Heroes Act, our latest piece of legislation to support state, local, and tribal governments in the fight against c****av***s and to provide American families with the assistance they need.
>>>A B... S... fluff bit saying how wonderful the House Democrats were to save us. Never asking for any Republican input because this is nothing more then a Democrat wish list from Pelosi, for more power and more v**es and more control over our lives.

***House Democrats also know that economic hardship didn’t end after the last stimulus package.
>>>Hey, Dumbo, the House Republicans also know this, and why this isn't the answer.

***While we may have provided some much-needed relief, a single $1,200 check is not sufficient. The Heroes Act would provide a second round of direct economic assistance and would extend the additional $600 of unemployment benefits through next year so Americans out of work have a vital safety net to fall back on.
>>>That is so people on unemployment can earn more staying home then returning to work and try to help bring America back to prosperity. And to do this until next year is outlandish irresponsibility.

***As the Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government, I fought for, and am proud that the Heroes Act included almost $1 trillion in funding to support states in their fight against c****av***s, of which $18.55 billion would go to Illinois.
>>>Are you all ready to give Illinois, the most irresponsible state in America, $18,550,000,000 to bail out the irresponsibility of the Democrat Party's running of Illinois? Imagine how much they are planning to give California for their mismanagement.

***As a long-time champion of e******n security, I published an op-ed last month with Appropriations Committee Chair Nita Lowey where we called for an increase in funding to protect our e******ns during this p******c. Our advocacy helped lead the way for the $3.6 billion for grants to States for contingency planning and $25 billion for the United States Postal Service to help pr********n for the upcoming e******n.
>>>More grants to states to do what they should do on their own. That is run an honest e******n. Money for that to Illinois is more theft of your money for the Illinois Democrats to steal more v**es more efficiently. There are no provisions mentioned for cleaning up the local v**er rolls and how they will accomplish this B... S... And $25 Billion for the post office to help pr********n. For what? Doing their job delivering the mail? Just another B. S. bailout

***Unfortunately, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that he feels "no urgency" when it comes to passing our next c****av***s response bill.
>>>Fortunately, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that he feels "no urgency" when it comes to passing our next c****av***s response bill. Well, at least that piece of donkey dung.

***As health and economic conditions across the country continue to worsen, it is my hope that Senate Republicans reconsider their position and quickly take up and pass the Heroes Act. Lives quite literally depend on what the federal government does next.
>>>Try opening up the country. This closure is well past overdone and is destroying America. Your cure is worse then the disease.

***This p******c isn’t over and we will be dealing with the economic fallout for months, if not years to come. As long as we are asking essential workers to keep showing up to work and asking Americans to stay home and forego paychecks, Congress has an obligation to keep passing legislation to help them.
>>>Try staying in Wshington and doing your job. There.

***House Democrats also took steps last week to ensure that Congress can continue to fully operate despite the ongoing p******c. Like many of you, Congress has been forced to find new ways to get our work done remotely and today's v**e would ensure that we are able to represent our constituents fully while protecting the safety of staff, administrators, and members of Congress, and without ourselves spreading the v***s. These rules changes will enable Congress to govern as normally as possible during these extraordinary times.

Through passing H. Res. 965, the House will temporarily institute proxy v****g and allow virtual committee proceedings during the c****av***s p******c. Proxy v****g will mean that Members who have underlying conditions that put them at high risk or who have to travel a long distance to Washington, D.C., which would expose them to greater risk, do not have to make the trip. Instead, those of us who are lucky enough to be relatively young and healthy can cast v**es at their direction. Remote committee hearings and semi-remote committee markups will also ensure that v**ers' voices are heard at every step of legislating, despite the p******c.
>>>Virtual meetings are fine, as long as they are fair for all Representatives of both parties. But these Representatives were v**ed in to be our Representatives in Washington. Not working from home, or working from their in state office. Washington. Show up daily, wear your mask, attend all meetings, and V**E in Washington, not the comfort of your home Laz-E-boy with a glass of Scotch next to you.

Cheers

Hope you sent a copy of your responses to your Dem Rep! Not that he would bother reading it, no doubt!

I have in the past and of course he never responds. This is mild to some of his s**t and the stuff I responded to. I'd probably reword it here and there so it comes off as sent directly to him and not a list. Thanks for responding
