I think the main problem with some is that the government is telling them to do it. Doing something for the common good is no longer being considered. Dalai Lama has made a comment about it. People are made to be respected things are made to be used, at this time things are being respected and people are being used. It not exactly what was said but the idea is there. Our government in it purest form was set up for the people, by the people. But as with everything else if you don't take care of it it goes bad that is caused by the same people who are complaining about the overreach.
