What a mess.

It seems to me that the older I got the less I knew. I wish I could meet all the requirements of God so that He would bless me. I hear people say after someone gets hurt or k**led, We will pray for them. I believe it is to late to pray for them . Why didn't God do something before the person got hurt or k**led. He knew it was going to happen. He could have stopped it . We have enough things to worry about in this world without all the bad things that happen. If some are going to heaven and some are going to hell, why doesn't God let us have all the advantages here on earth. There is enough in this world so that everybody can have a little. Hell is forever. Give us a little heaven while we are here on earth. Someone once said the only heaven the people who are going to hell will see is the life on this earth. The only hell the saved will see is here on earth.

While you raise interesting questions, it would appear that you don't understand God or the Kingdom of Heaven. God is not your nanny... always there to keep you safe and out of harm's way. If you are a parent then can glimpse the issue... you can provide rules, guidance, opportunity... but ultimately your child makes its choices - and must live with the consequences. We don't live in bubbles... we are constantly interacting with others - many of whom have their own agendas and some who are just plain evil. Things happen that shouldn't.

On earth we do have a bit of heaven - and a whole lot of hell. Having Jesus as your Savior and God as your focus allows you to appreciate the scraps of Heaven that exist here. If you believe that "Heaven" on earth is getting to do any immoral thing you want, then you are already stepping into Hell. While those actions may be fun at the moment, do they provide solace and on-going satisfaction with life? Not that I have witnesses... ultimately you are forced to continually go back to the trough for "replenishment" and are never satisfied.

I had an ex-wife who claimed all the time that "I would drive through Hell for you!!""

I found that when I kicked her out of the drivers seat, the trips to hell were a lot less frequent...

There is a message there,,, watch who you let "drive" your life, and dont marry satans sister....

Your answer has a lot of merit. What I wrote was a scenario Of the many things God could do. God wanted us to know good and evil. He gave us the responsibility for our actions. He also gave us the law to show us we were sinners. God knew ahead of time where His creation was going. He gave us a lot of promises and restrictions to live by. His creation is a classroom for eternal life. Our ignorance is the inability to Know God as we would like to. He gave us a book read. We can read it and get a lot of history from it. The hidden knowledge of God is for the true believer to learn from the Holy Spirit. We base our lives on the promises of God not on the knowledge. God is the one who justifies us. He is the one who sanctifies us. If God never stepped into the world to let us see Him. We would all be going to hell. This is His plan not ours. When all is said and done we will see the results of His plan. May we all meet in Heaven on that great day. God bless.

I have always believed, the t***h need not be hidden, it veils itself from the eyes of the ignorant. If you seek the t***h, you must first lift the veils of your ignorance, then open fully and consciously to your God.

Like Dr Laura used to say,, "You know what the t***h is and what is right, it just isnt easy to accept it, and even harder to do it"

2 Corinthians chapter 4 talks of this veil.
