Gov's taking of business (private property) without just compensation what-so-ever
During the discussions on forming the Constitution of the USA during the age of 1787-1791, the population of Philadelphia was 30,000; the largest city in the USA . 1,000 folks per week were dying from Yellow Favor. Yet, nowhere in the Constitution does it say that folks had to stay home and businesses had to close. The CC (Continental Congress) did not suspend the Bill of Rights. Further, among the rights enumerated in Amendment Five (aka I take the fifth); the right to not self incriminate in criminal cases, double jeopardy, "Nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
The Gov's mandates of shuttering of businesses is a taking for public use. One might argue that the Gov is not using the property (businesses) therefore, No public use.I disagree, the public use is for the protection of the public, for the public good. Therefore, the shuttering is a taking mandating just compensation for the business owners. I can argue in court that 10s of thousands of businesses will bankrupt. In many cases owners spent years saving and building their businesses and government action forced those businesses into bankruptcy. I beg all of U and I mean every American to put a stop to this over reaching and violating you civil rights under the Constitution. The econ of the USA has already been destroyed. Don't spout your stupidity by saying "Trump did it." Governors of each state committed the criminal acts and are still violating your Constitutional Rights. All U folks are laying down for you criminal governor and Nancy PPPPPlosi who is saying continue the lockdown, Governors should have to pay for what they are doing; including Nancy PPPPlosi for aiding and abetting the criminals.
Folks, are all of U cowards? Can't care for yourselves? Can't fight for your civil rights. If U folks had been living in the era of the revolution, George Washington would have had no warriors and U would be under British control.
