Take a look at the stupid boy in the photo below.
Well, he murdered a female postal worker because his stimulus check was being held at the post office due to the fact that he had a vicious dog at his residence.
The postal worker was afraid to deliver mail to his house because of his stupid dog.
Some people's children need hangin'.

https://www.kansascity.com/news/nation-world/national/article242396511.htmlThis is unacceptable. There ought to be summary execution IN cases like this! What we do need is a very quick trial while this is still fresh in the public's mind, and his execution attended by every punk-ass gang banger to witness him losing bodily functions when he is hanged or electrocuted. Make an example of him. Psychopaths and sociopaths like this one are able to walk around loose in public. Fortunately, not too many of them exist. They don't belong in society. They have no conscience. I'm sorry, I know he is entitled to his due process and day in court but this is beyond the pale of civilized society. I have no sympathy for a scumbag like this. It too bad we don't have public executions. May God Bless this postal worker and her family that survives her.

Perhaps what he needed most was some proper raisin'? So few facts presented.... Was/is mental health issue(s) a factor?

I have to disagree about summary execution, but I do agree that PUBLIC executions just might make a few of these vicious miscreants think twice.
Anyone remember the old Tarzan movie where the savages (what they were called in the movies and not my view) would tie their victims legs to two separate bowed trees and let the spring in the trees rip them in half.
Wouldn't that get these scum bags attention!

I was being facetious and just expressing the same frustration that I'm sure many others share. However, there are some crimes that are just too insane to ignore by letting the criminal justice system take its time in resolving these matters. I understand, all this is a double-edged sword. Even public executions might be a terrible recourse that takes us back to an era of public h*****gs. So, we wait, and we let justice run its course, which in the end is the best course of action.
Interesting that the perp is charged with second-degree murder. Why not first-degree?

Execute the scum...
I would put this up for consideration: Instead of execution use life in 'prison' - and I don't mean the country club prisons we have.
8 X 10 cell, commode and sink, 2 meals a day - and the only human they see is a the hand of a guard sliding their meal tray under the door.
And there they stay till the die.

Waste of food... And a 8x10 cell...
That sink and commode could help some family in a poorer area...
A bullet is so cheap.... Heck, be generous and spring for a couple dozen...

Raisins are good for you but I doubt it would have made a difference.

I'm not so sure: A quick death, one way or another, ends the earthly punishment. Think about being in a call like that for the rest of your life.

It's not about punishment or vengeance...
It's about prevention...
God will sort him...

Plenty of facts presented. His mail was being held until he got his dog under control. That carrier did everything she was trained to do in dealing with a customer with an aggressive dog.
It's pretty simple, really. If you want your mail, and have an exceptionally protective dog, put it up where it can't get to the carrier. Otherwise, you won't get your mail.
If his mail was curtailed because of his dog, he had been given multiple warnings. He is in the wrong no matter how bad he wanted his free money.
Hell, he'd prolly raise hell if his water, or electric were cut off because he never received a bill....because of his dog.
Dog issues are one of the worst problems mail carriers face every day. That's why there is an abundance of pepper spray available for the carriers at every station.
