Undoubtedly you think ignoring C***d for over two months was some greatness, right?

His policies have destroyed this country in all respects including the standing in the world as the once respected world leader we no longer are.

You think spouting off daily of his perceived failures and what YOU think he should or shouldn’t have done is greatness? It’s not, your irrational fear is misplaced, like most cowards you tuck and roll, run away and play armchair political fluffer for the Democrat losers.

For someone who doesn’t listen to him per YOU, you sure follow his every word so you can spout your fears, go see your therapist, I bet they cringe when they see your appointment on the calendar.

The problem is, you saw Obama as a great leader...haha haha, he was a dung pile, so your opinion on anything is lame, your hatred and bias, combined with your perpetual fear should have you embarrassed, not being, sure paints a picture of you.. And it ain’t pretty.
You’ve been deranged for so long you wouldn’t recognize a good leader if he slapped you with a stimulus check.

Get a job.

Trump 2020

I can't stand Trump. He is completely unfit to be POTUS. I usually don't agree with his policies, but this alone is no reason to feel the way I do. His handling of this p******c has caused the p******c to be much more serious than it had to be. He ignored it completely in the beginning, assuring us that it was no big deal. He closed down personal contacts with China, but not Europe. The strain of the c***d19 v***s that has caused so much infection and death in the East comes from Italy. He has guaranteed early on that tests were available to anybody that wants one. Not true. To this day tests can not be carried out in many states. We even had a shortage of swabs for tests. He has refused to use the law to force manufacturers to make an adequate number of protective gear for health workers working with infected people. He has used this law to force workers to work in food plants that are genuine hot spots for the v***s. The man is a danger to our country in so many ways!

Too bad you are wrong on nearly every account. Why do you stick around on OPP if you don't intend to ever learn anything? Does your narcissism put you above being lectured to by someone with more smarts than you? You look at the simplest answer proffered by the Democrats and accept their dogma as the gospel. It has been shown beyond a reasonable doubt (except by those suffering from TDS) that Trump did not ignore the threat. F***i is on record as saying it was not a big deal. Trump is not the Doctor and he has to listen to his advisers to make an informed decision. I'm sure you have heard the saying "War is too important to be left to generals!" But do you understand what that means? F***i is a specialist and expert, and so, he has more and more knowledge about less and less. That doesn't mean he knows what to do in this situation. It doesn't mean he has more wisdom by virtue of being a doctor. A general goes to the battlefield with a plan but they often have to alter the plan or discard it completely depending on changing conditions and as new information becomes available.

The democrats dithered on the potential crisis of the v***s much more so than Trump. They tried to foil his attempts at every turn to react in a prudent manner to the oncoming problem. There is plenty of blame to go all around.

Trump inherited a bureaucratic system that was not properly prepared for nor equipped to handle the p******c. None of that has anything to do with budget cuts or creating or disbanding p******c teams in the White House. The fact of the matter is that big-government is totally unprepared for such an event because it is a slow lumbering dinosaur. Private enterprise is the vehicle that responded promptly to the crisis. Wisely he left it to individual states to determine their course of action for dealing with the p******c while making federal resources available to all. Had he done otherwise, you would be complaining that he stepped beyond his authority, no? Yes! When he halted traffic from China the Democrats went into their usual criticism mode of saying the President is xenophobic and r****t, Test kits were not yet even developed. Trump has incentivized hundreds of labs around the world to study the v***s, develop a test, and a v*****e. What more would you like him to have done?

There may be two strains of the novel v***s (BTW, novel mean newly appearing) and the one on the East Coast, having come mainly from Europe, may be different from the one on the West Coast that came from China.

Trying to take the time to respond to all the fallacies put forth on OPP is more time-consuming than I have time for. Suffice it to say, Trump has handled the p******c very well. He has been responsive to the needs of the nation and each state as Cuomo and Newsom will attest to. He has remained flexible to change direction and strategy as new information became available. He respected the constitution by not over-reacting with more authority than he is granted in Article II. You say you can't stand Trump. Fine! But to say he is unfit to be POTUS because of his handling of the p******c shows a complete misunderstanding on your part as to how our Constitutional Republic operates and what the President's duties and responsibilities are. Disagree with his policies if you like, but be able to support why you disagree because the reasons you cite are not t***hful depictions of what was done.

Dtucker300,

the length of your explanation is well justified, but sadly misdirected. These target audiences have nary an attention span to take it all in.

But we have to try, don't we? Thank you.
