... and politically indoctrinated in a leftward direction continues to be an agenda of today's Democratic Party, and in the true form of never letting a perfectly good crisis go to waste, they won't allow (if they have anything to say about it) school closings due to the C****-** p******c to change a thing.

This pretty well speaks for itself:

https://nypost.com/2020/04/23/elites-go-to-war-on-homeschooling-just-when-everyones-doing-it/

That anyone can justify putting a child's education on hold for political reasons during the most important years for his or her learning development is purely unconscionable, yet peculiarly suited to the elitists of the Portside.

And one wonders why, in saner times, these people were referred to as "the red menace."

Homeschooling should be the choice rather than the indoctrinated public school system. And left fear that that is exactly what will happen losing yet again another upcoming base with their mentality and their v**es..,

I have already had a couple of my friends tell me they were going to stay with homeschooling because it is much better than all the scheduling they have to do around school schedules..

Of course the school system will fight it later because they don’t want to lose that head count money for their federal funding you know...

Always having to find the good in something this may very well be yet another good for the benefit of our country and the sanity of our children..

I have seen some advantages to home schooling .Our public school system is not great , It's expensive ,inefficient. and has turned into a social service ,more concerned with welfare and g***ming than real education

That will be sort of ironic, won't it? The very crisis the left is trying to exploit for political gain leading to their losing their stranglehold on their main venue for indoctrinating children... and the same children growing up not only better educated, but possessing the ability to think for themselves rather than being told what to think by the "progressive" establishment.

I have a friend who is a home schooler, and her students are uniformly better equipped for both higher education and successful adulthood.

I am 100% in favor of home schooling, but some parents are not in a situation to home school and some parents are not capable. I want public schools to stick to the basics and not have sports and some other activities. Sports programs should be run by communities sperate from schools.

That's what charter schools are about, but as with home schooling, the "progressive" elitists, who send their kids to private schools, don't believe that "those other people's" children should be spared indoctrination by the govt school system.

Our children are guaranteed a public education for our children's sake. That is like saying our children are guaranteed enough food to sustain life. It is more like an insurance policy for when better methods fail. Kids whose parents can't afford better are given a free education at public schools and a free breakfast and lunch.

But, is it better. With the statistics I've seen, Charter Schools, Home Schooling and Private Schools have better results. And I'm sure they will get fed at home.

What is this big thing with Democrats always pushing for a Public Education. Unions and Control and Indoctrination to the philosophy that the Democrats want to instill in your children. They support the Unions and try to get them higher pay and benefits, job security no matter how bad of a job they do, etc, "All for the children" and as such the Unions return the favor with more Democratic v**es. Result: More Democratic power and control of you and your families education and indoctrination and your lives from cradle to grave.

Private schools are often too expensive and available only to those that can afford it. And there are usually waiting lines. They tend to give a better education by being free to hire better teachers and fire under performing teachers. They are also often Religious institutions and run by a Religious Organization. As such they also tend to enforce and teach a more moral society based on helping others get ahead and not just giving a hand out to those in need. And they even do that more proficiently. They are also better at teaching discipline. The Religious based Private Schools also help teach the students on the fundamentals of the religion of the parents, reinforced at home, and with the intentions of building not just educated children, but future adults of good character.

(As an aside, I am a graduate of religious schooling. My high school had to close down. Ever since, the alumni have donated thousand and millions to the religious order that taught them, and also to other schools where this religious order teaches. Pure generosity from the heart. Providing many scholarships to poorer children here and there throughout America. Private education. Yes.)

Charter Schools are also an alternative to the public education. They offer more choices to parents and a more specialized curriculum. They also don't have all of those bull s**t union rules protecting teachers at the expense of the children. And Charter Schools may unionize, but should never be allowed to join or affiliate with Public Employee Unions, or they will ultimately down grade and defeat their purpose.

Home schooling is a wonderful experience for children, often giving them hands on teaching and special care by someone who actually cares for the child, and the results of their special care. They have results that are superior to that of Public School children. I've seen articles from public school teachers complaining that the children they get, aren't being taught some basic fundamentals, before coming to public school, making them more baby sitter then teacher. And now they are complaining about parents doing exactly that. Crazy.

What is needed is free choice, or even a voucher system. That should mean some sort of financial assistance for parents that home school. Assistance to private schools, but only to the amount of assistance given to the public school. Same for charter schools. Religious schools get a slightly less contribution of state money, based on the time spent on general education, and not religious indoctrination. And all of this based on the results of the education given and absorbed by the students, in their pr********n for adulthood and independence. That means some form of universal testing, before and after, on general education and specialties. If you want the money, the State has a right to see the results of their investment.

And yes, the State has an interest in their investment to insure that there is a new generation coming along that can support the State's fundamental jobs, and the society as a whole, that is free to succeed, and make their own personal choices, based on desires and abilities, and not State indoctrination.

You will get no argument from me and as more parents become accustomed to their children's strengths and weaknesses their children will be given the extra needed to overcome it.. My neighbor said the online schooling with teachers is a true awakening and genuine help for she and her 2 children..And certainly hopes those on line staff for consultation stay in place.. Just imagine teachers that can assist yet be home as well.. Could Potentially open up a new wave of education.. Not that on line and home schooling is new but an entire dedicated system to it could emerge...A plus!!!

A savings grace, Seth, truly...Change is good and not all in this v***s personified is as it appears..

Instead of doom and gloom let's look to and appropriate what needs to happen simply to free this nation and our children from a country that doesn’t need to be moving on its present course... All by personal choice no less..

Perhaps the free will of man stands stronger than the super imposed self righteous cretins of the present...?? 😉✨💫

While that would certainly be a great thing for both children's educations and futures as well as for parents who are concerned with the daytime portions of their children's upbringings, what they are being exposed to during school hours, it would certainly be a kick in the groin for the l*****ts whose goal is to hijack or impair young peoples' independent reasoning abilities, awareness of their American heritage, religious beliefs and essential morality while they are captive audiences in the classroom.

Since the "progressive" elitists in Silicon Valley are so big on telecommuting, telecommuted teaching shouldn't be a problem, right?
