As more and more people learn what health care will cost them more and more want to opt out. Employers are finding that paying the per employee fine for yanking it will save them all kinds of money. That was what was intended from the start, I think.

Short video full of information for all of us.

You're finally catching on oldroy, this was painfully obvious from the start. A 8th grader could see that the numbers never remotely added up, I wonder why no Democrat saw it, could it be because they never bothered to read it?

How in hell could those Senators have read that attempt at legislation when it was 2700 pages long and they had so short a time to do so in? Well of course they didn't read it and Nasty Nancy didn't give the House any more time with her "We have to pass it to find what is in it".

It wasn't nearly as obvious how and what this thing would do to the nation when it became law as it has come to be known since then.

Hey, I am not finally catching on, but I sure am willing to talk a lot more about how bad this thing is and what it will do to our nation and people. I have known all along.

Every medical program the federal gov't has implemented has made medical costs increase and in general have been dismal failures as any economics book would have told you, put paper money in, costs go up. Congress exists for the sole purpose of insuring that these bills that are passed are known and at least minimally workable and effective, if they didn't I do not care why. That is why disbanding the federal gov't at this point is the only answer. We can not continue to let these officials run the country and the politicians are only a small part of the problem, the bigger problem are the employees of the gov't who are flaming liberals to the core and have a vested interest in continuing to fleece us. They all deserve to be jobless.

Well I guess if you fire all those federal employees along with the elected officials maybe the residents of certain states like New York and California won't feel they are being dominated by progressives. (sarcasm intended)

I do wonder what happens to his once great nation when we disband its government and allow it to split into 50 different governments. However, all of them do have constitutions.

We will still be one union because every state knows that on their own they would not survive, beside that the constitution would still be in effect binding us together but we would have the right to abolish departments, institutions, programs and take the gov't out of DC where the central problem exists: entrenched federal programs that no longer serve the people only the leaches in DC. It is much more simple then you are making it. Think about each state making decisions at a basic survival level, not like a spoiled child who can call DC and get a bailout. They would be forced to cooperate and if one or two didn't it wouldn't matter to the remainder.

Okay, now how will mom and I exist without Social Security? You did mention abolishing the costly things didn't you? I don't think it is as simple as you seem to think.

How do the interior states work with the seacoast states with defense? Will we still be operating an Air Force and Navy? How about the Postal System? Is it getting less and less simple?

All of those things are set up on a state wide basis already and under the constitution provisions for collection of taxes are still maintained until those issues are settled. The abolishment of the gov't can only be done under the provisions of the constitutional convention in an orderly way, is a civil war going to be more orderly because that is the culmination of what is happening if real men don't step up and do it the right way. Quit whining, you are as responsible as anyone for this mess for not standing up before now if you are on soc. sec. already. I have been raising hell since the day they started busing me and being surrounded by liberals has gotten me nothing but scorn for it. It's time men with backbones took over again and started making decisions that help everyone.

I don't want to hurt your feelings but we have some good retirement funds to live on but SS is there and I paid on it for over 50 years before I started collecting it. I, in fact, still pay SS payroll taxes since I am not completely retired and the federal law calls for me to continue doing it. I have been paying into SS for more than 65 years.

Who has been bussing you and why? I have my suspicions but you can help me understand by telling me.

Do you know many Democrats or unemployed people who really think that Obamacare will be free for anybody other than the 30 million who have been on Medicaid all this time? I know some, but not very many.

The school system bussed me you r****t prick. I explained that your ss payments would continue, aren't you listening? I was forced to switch schools and was the only white male in my class for three years. The folly of busing as a remedy for r****m is obvious, right? It is you who do not understand what a constitutional convention would entail and why it is the only remedy to keep things from blowing up completely and keeping your precious life as it is. Do you ever think of anyone but yourself? I am, I even think of your needs as selfish as you are.

I clicked on the proper place and your name appears in this post. Get yourself to doing that little trick.

Hey, you don't hurt my feelings calling me names. Now let me ask you if you have any idea what would be needed to get that constitutional convention you are raving about? Like who calls it and how? Who decides who the representatives at it will be? Is it the Congress? Nope, they won't do that since you are proposing to take some of them out of their jobs. Both the House and the Senate have to respond to the call for a constitutional convention and the Senate isn't about to agree to something like that to take away their jobs.

Can you tell me some other way to get that Convention called? There is one but it still involves the Congress.

Hey, would you cry if I take the topic of this thread back to the things that seem to be happening to Obamacare? Are you the only white boy who ever had to be bussed to make a place look less r****t? Did those horrible black kids mistreat you all day, every day? When was that?

The whole program is designed to fail so the Marxist/democrats can move to single payer, which is what they and Obama have desired all along.

First, I like black people, that was not the point. Busing was sending children out to do what grown-ups should have done is the point, you figure out why. By the way it was an extremely abusive atmosphere toward me but I came out strong but the point is I really want to help b****s and everyone else which our gov't is not doing. The constitutional convention would be called by the states, obviously the employees of the fed gov't would not call it, that is the problem. You need two thirds (34 states for you hard to follow fellas) of the states to call for it. Get with the program man. I live in North Carolina and was bused beginning in the 4th grade and can tell you everything that is wrong with the racial policies of this country after going through it myself and then putting three children through public schools, for the express purpose of helping minorities and poor people, it sure as hell didn't do anything for me or my kids, so go sell your BS to someone who hasn't paid their dues and doesn't know s**t like you. You're a typical sit on the sideline and whine jerk that lives up north, thinks he knows everything but needs to go outside r****t. Go v**e for Al Franken, Nancy Pelosi, Reid, Turbin, Barbara Lee or your fav Elizabeth Warren and feel great about yourself moron.

If the Democrats were sincere in their stated objective with Obamacare, they are economically illiterate. If one wanted to increase the quantity or quality of any economic good they'd do something to increase the generation of that economic good. In other words, all else equal, to increase health care availability for more people you'd create more doctors, nurses, medicines, and medical devices. There are no provisions to do that, and many to do the opposite.

You need to be a special useful i***t to believe increasing the number of IRS agents will yield increased health care availability.

You're spot on Dave but it is redundant to state that Democrats are economically illiterate, they have to be to open their mouths on any issue. This is true of any ethical issue which they all are.
