Ok, let's set this up with the following statement (CD - if you're reading this - your input is desired):
"For instance, on the Ontario government’s website telling its citizens what to do about C****-**, its advice consists entirely of measures designed to prevent people from coming in contact with the v***s: stay home, wash your hands often, don’t touch your face, maintain physical distancing and wear a mask when you have to go out.
No mention is made of any measures individuals can take to ensure their i****e s****ms are operating at peak efficiency (or as the French scientists would have put it, their terrain is well prepared to mount a defence). It’s almost as though the Ontario government doesn’t believe human beings have i****e s****ms or that they’re of any use whatsoever. The only hope, Ontario seems to believe, is for a pharmaceutical company to patent a v*****e, because that is the only way that human beings can defend themselves against a v***s, or acquire immunity."
Now, bear with me on this, the article from which this was taken goes into an interesting theoretical discussion of the 150-year-old scientific controversy between French scientist Louis Pasteur who is widely celebrated as “the father of germ theory”, and advocates of the lesser known “terrain theory” such as Antoine Béchamp.
The "terrain theorists" believed that the most important factor that determines whether or not a person becomes ill is not the presence of a germ, but rather the preparedness of the body’s internal environment (the “soil” or terrain) to repel or destroy the germ.
Now, what is the elephant in the room? Virtually all news media is focused on infection rate, mortality rate, social distancing, masks, V*****ES under development, overrun hospitals, etc., etc.
It is a well established fact that obese people, both young and old are at high risk. Smokers, high risk. People under stress, poor nutrition, people not getting enough sleep, people with high sugar and alcohol intake, all at high risk.
The point that I'm trying to make is that the focus on this disease relies upon Louis Pasteur's "germ theory" approach to this problem (even though Pasteur later wrote, “Bernard avait raison. Le germ n’est rien, c’est le terrain qui est tout.” (Bernard was right. The germ is nothing, it’s the soil that is everything.)
There are a few doctors, virologists and epidemiologists that have tried to focus on what individuals can and should be doing to maintain and strengthen their i****e s****m in order to prevent succumbing to the disease in the first place. That approach is the same as saying it's better to prevent getting cancer in the first place, rather than attempting to cure the disease once you have it.
You hear talk about the PCR tests that can determine whether you have CV-19, or an antibody test to determine if you had it and have developed antibodies. But, have you ever heard anybody suggesting checking the D3 level of people that have succumbed to the disease, vs. those that have had it, but are asymptomatic? How about checking on the Magnesium and Potassium levels of those same individuals.
Why is there no emphasis on the personal responsibility of each and every one of us maintain our gut health and to do all we can to keep our immunity level at optimum levels?
