Gov. Cuomo said he needed 30,000 ventilators for his state. He planned to seize ventilators from Up State NY to supply NY City. I thought I had heard on the radio that NY State is only using 5,000 total. I cannot not find the number that the state has actually needed and used when I do internet searches.

I think he found 3,000 in a warehouse. I know he used his press conferences to ring the federal govt's dinner bell so New Yawk would be first in line for everything..
He probably needed 78.

When you say "used" I think I can say he used ventilators in a way not medical.

Don't know but it is sure to be less since doctors are confirming they are k*****g patients instead of helping. Also read that hospitals get extra Federal bucks for prescribing a ventilator, needed or not.

Gov. Cuomo really hit the panic button and demanded 30,000 ventilators pronto. That is fine if they really needed them. However, ventilators are in short supply all over the country and all over the world. If they received more than they needed it would logically mean that other hard hit areas were deprived. I thinkDe Blasio wanted a high number for his city.

This is what I want to know. I heard one thing on the radio and I wanted to know if indeed they were using only a fraction of the number they requested.
