What to do?
Conflicting information....

Let me understand with your help. There is a bat who had a v***s, not the C****-**. That bat somehow infected a pangolin. So far, ???? Anyway, this pangolin was in the wet market, although considered critically endangered and was banned for human consumption, it was either slaughtered and sold or it spit on/bit/licked/or somehow can in contact with its victim. So, and this is just a question, how did the people who had no contact with the market get sick....especially the lab technician?
Next question, because I have an interest in endangered animals, how far is Shiwan Dashan (a Hundred Thousand Mountains) – in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region near the Chinese border with Vietnam to Huanan Wholesale Seafood Market in W***n? A wildlife expert, Ranger Lu Hanrong, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), a domestic non-profit public foundation, had this to say about the pangolins "This is the first time a wild pangolin was found in Guangxi in recent years as far as I know. It’s almost never seen in the wild in China now." Amazing how things must have fallen perfectly in place in timing for those two creatures to encounter each other.

My understanding is there were a number of bats with the v***s... And Pangolins... All found in the market... Pangolins are used in Chinese Medicine and there is an underground market for them...
As for how other individuals became sick, I would suggest via t***smission... See v***ses have this ability to spread... Now seeing as how quite a few people go through the wet market, and various businesses buy their supplies from such matkets, it's somewhat possible that the v***s may have been spread in this way....
Another theory, somewhat less plausible, is that the technician is one of those individuals who requires daily sustenance and either they are a family member shopped in a wet market conveniently located close to their place of work and presumably residence... Bizarre tjeory, but people have been known to eat nd shop... (even lab technicians)

I am truly shocked... It's almost as though individuals who trade in illegal, endangered species via the black market have no respect for borders... Well... So much for this article... If one can't trust black market poachers who can one trust...

Having reread what you wrote I think I understand some of the confusion...
C****a viri live in both bats and pangolins...
The article I posted didn't state that the v***s jumped from a bat in the W***n market to a pangolin to a human...
It stayed that a bat may have infected a pangolin (some bats feed on other animals...And Pangolins are somewhat omniverous... )
That both bats and pangolins were discovered in the market...
Did you read the article where it mentions that the v***s did not resemble other known c****a v***ses like SARS and MERA...
No problem... My second post was sans the sarcasm....
Having a bad day here...
Got some bad news from back home...
Old family friend died of a heart attack... Took over an hour for the ambulance to get to their home... Could have walked to the hospital faster... They claim that c****a v***s guidelines are slowing down response times... But it was 2:00 in the afternoon and there hasn't been a single reported case in my hometown... Just a lot of underfunding... And a poor medical system that hasn't worked well in years...
My response was uncalled for and I apologize... Think I'll take a day or two off from the OPP... I shouldn't be snapping at people...
Stay strong and be careful...

All the information I have heard says that there were no bats in the market. The article also says it would be a strange way to engineer the v***s, not that it wasn't engineered. My take from what I read.

We're doing OK so far. WE got our stimulus check so I was able to get my car fixed. It was plugs, wires, and boot covers on the coils.
We are getting cabin fever, but I believe the whole country is getting that syndrome. If we don't restart the country soon, the damage may not be repairable. I'll have to take some pictures of the park where I work. It has just reopened after a complete overhaul. It's very pretty...has geese, docks, and a boardwalk of sorts.
Well, I found some great photos on FaceBook of the East Lake Park. #1 shows a sort of boardwalk. #2 shows a little observation dock. #4 shows one of the gazebos. There's also a big pavilion and a very nice bathroom area.
You guys stay safe especially with a new outbreak.

Like I said, all stories I've heard say no bats were found in the market. The bats in question also live 900km away. The Epoch times has a very good documentary called "tracking down the origins of the W***n v***s" its up on YouTube. Sorry don't have the link. You probably can't get the Epoch times, but may be able to get it on YouTube.
