The rumors flew from right after the attack that the FDR administration knew the attack was coming for weeks. Many FDR supporters, over the years, scoffed at the idea but within the past 25 years or so, a supporter named Victor admitted it in a book but claimed it was better for the world.

In FDR Myth, John Flynn states it. A lot of evidence supports it. The administration was shot full with c*******ts and fellow travelers who had a vested intellectual interest in the survival of Stalin, including his wife the redoubtable Eleanor.
