It’s so nice to see you posting again! When I was new here, a couple of fellas were very rude and hurtful for no reason! You and Linda defended me! It meant a lot because I was extremely vulnerable at the time!
You’re an admirable lady!

There are a number of h**eful people here, and the bast thing is to ignore them. shortly after NPP and I started posting here, his brother died and NPP was going through a really hard time. The h**eful people got really nasty with him and for a while I did all the posting, just did not sign my name. Noe we both post but I usually remember to sign if it is me, but not always.

I’ve learned to have a bit thicker skin through the years! LOL! I can’t imagine why anyone would ever be unkind to either you or your husband, ever! I admire and respect you both! And I love when you share your thoughts!

Not to intrude here....but what a beautiful, beautiful portrait of grace those angels are!! Have a blessed Easter.

Not intruding ever!!
I pray you and family do too and health abounds us all...

Those angels are for all of us... Crying for the sorrows of past while rejoicing in the good which is love...

I thank you for your kind words and for putting out the welcome mat!! I remember my first days here.... treading water, when a couple of folks came along, picked me up, and dusted me off. Vulnerability, not something that goes well with OPP. LOL I'm glad that Linda and I were in the right place at the right time....and that you're still here!! Have a blessed Easter.

When NPP and I (SWMBO) started posting here, there were a number of very h**eful people. Unfortunately several are still here but under different name. But there were also some great and caring people. Glad some are still here and hopefully many of the new ones will remain here an remain thoughtful and caring people, no mater what their politic are. Too bad that Easter services will not be communal for any of us, but remember God hears your prayers, often better when you pray in private.

Indeed, there are the "h**ers". My word, my first day....I don't think "those folks" ran out of creative things to say to me....told me to drink the "Kool Aid", called me a c*******t, a t*****r to my country....and those were probably some of the nicer things said. I can laugh now, knowing that hidden agendas, trolls just wanting to have fun, and the anonymity that a computer screen gives makes for some outlandish behavior. It doesn't excuse it, but it does explain it. However, those thoughtful folks you spoke of, they make up for the rest. I was glad to see some familiar "faces", yours and Linda's among 'em, on my return, a little like coming home. I'm looking forward to interesting conversation in civil tones, regardless where a person comes from politically.

It is too bad that the celebration of Easter will be so totally different from any we've ever celebrated, but t***h to tell, I sometimes think I hear God best under a bright blue sky than inside a church. I know when I first realized something was drastically wrong with me three years ago, I told no one my fears. I just made quick plans to head for the Florida panhandle and I camped for several weeks, having long conversations with God, centering myself for what I knew was coming down the pike. Life's journey sometimes takes you down roads filled with potholes, it does. It's good to remember that we're never alone.

Have a blessed Easter.....all of you and yours.

Indeed, there are the "h**ers". My word... (show quote)

I have always done my most serious talks with Jesus outside! When the word came down that the Gulf War had started and my son was on the front line, I immediately ran outside and fell on my knees to pray for him and all of our boys! Outside is where I see Him best, in all His marvelous creation!

Amen, Amen, Amen!!! I can only imagine how you felt with your son on the front line and hearing those dreaded words. It's a humbling experience. Two weeks after 3 huge oaks came crashing through our roof 5 years ago, I was standing outside amidst the roof rubble and downed trees, looking up into an intensely blue sky, and I began to laugh, laugh with joy, spread my arms wide, and say "thank you" because of the sudden realization that that dark night, I had been wrapped in God's Grace, held safe, with darkness all around, crouched down, things falling off the wall. Sometimes, it takes me a while.

Amen to that!! As do I or even in my car, standing in line forever ( praying for patience to keep my mouth shut, lolol) or in my home...

The Lord hears us wherever we are....Assembly with others brings a bonding of like minded, no doubt, but in all honesty, when its time for those special, deep personal talks then I want and need the privacy..
