From cellphone tracking to drone eyes in the sky, perused health records, and GPS ankle bracelets, an epidemic of surveillance-state measures is spreading across the world. It's all done in the name of battling the spread of C****-**, of course, since every crisis is used to justify incursions into our liberty. But long after the v***s has done its worst and moved on, we're likely to be stuck with these invasions of our privacy—unless we push back, hard.

Knew a guy from Florida... Complained about the PATRIOT Act a lot.. Said it wasn't the government's business what books he checked out of the library... Said it so often I got real curious about what kind of books y'all's libraries carry

The surveillance state was supersized with the passage of the PATRIOT Act. Remember when liberals protested against that little piece of legislation we were called supporters of terrorists? With us or against us?
And if the surveillance state is thriving during the p******c it is with the support of the Trump administration and Republican senate. You are stuck with the surveillance state....

Prudent and necessary things done to protect us all, yes... Invasion of or side stepping our Constitutional rights to rise against us absolutely not. Remember what we tolerate and allow is what we get.

I think we should fly drones over Congress, Equipped with the ability to hear everything they are talking about as they do us...I think we should require every single one of them to wear an ankle bracelet so we know exactly where they are at all times to include running underground if anything were truly happened... I think we should track their vehicles with GPS is etc. etc. etc.
Ahhhh, The stressors of life can certainly be a challenge, can they not?
