Been there, done that. I solved my problem by inadvertently contracting pulmonary fibrosis. One of it's effects is large and rapid weight loss. I would not recommend it as a diet alternative.

At least you have someone to keep you company. It used to be me, myself and I, but myself and I took off to the Bahamas until all this blows over, so now it's just me.

You could do what several of our friends have done over the years. Get yourself an African GreyParrot. They can carry on a conversation on a level with a 5 year old child, can learn a few commands and you can always put the bird back in his cage if you want peace and quiet or the bird starts talking over your head.
