I guess the New York City Democrats had more important things to spend money on.

I guess they assumed no one would fact check this as the MSM rarely fact checks anything.

You mean you haven't found a way to try and blame Trump for things that happened before he was elected?

Let me try to explain it so even you can understand.

Lets say that two states of equal size have been told that they need a stockpile of 500 ventilators for emergencies. State A keeps there level at 500. State B lets its stockpile shrink to 300. Then this p******c arrives, hitting both states equally. Both states say they need a total of 1000 ventilators.

Due to having to supply ventilators to 50 states they need to balance need. But they also should balance how well the individual states prepared. They have an allotment of 400 ventilators that they can send right away.

A) Do they send 300 to state B who didn't prepare and only 100 to state A who did prepare? Then they are both at 600.

B) Or do they send 200 to each state? Then one has 700 and the other has 500.

C) Or do they send maybe 250 to the state that didn't prepare and 150 to the state that did prepare? That would give the prepared state 650 and the unprepared state 550.

I'm going for C, which rewards the better prepared state and still lets the unprepared state start to catch up. I'm hoping that our Federal Government is balancing things by immediate need, availability, and taking care of better prepared states with a little bias without completely dissing the unprepared state.

Logically Right

Uhhhh, a lot. Obviously the Federal Government, State governments, and City Governments did not consider it important enough to maintain stock piles of N-95 masks and ventilators. Since you now demand that President Trump pull ventilators out of thin air, we need to look at everyone's actions prior to this crisis.
