The song in South Pacific that says,' You've got to be taught to h**e', seems to me me to be appropriate. But in this circumstance it should be, 'You've got to be taught to fear.' Our public school have taught us to line up in straight neat lines and walk according to orders by teacher. We are taught to sit quietly and listen to teacher. We learn to obey the teacher and other leaders in charge. Now we are being taught to fear a v***s. Actually to DREAD a v***s. DREAD, and unreasoning fear. Our ancestors lived through the influenza epidemic in 1917. I don't remember any of them saying they faced huge fines or jail if they went out. Today we give up freedom to allow “leaders” to tell us what to do. Even the wall-flowers of our school days are are happy to bark at us if we should get within 6 feet of another person. In order to destroy the only non political president we have elected in two centuries we are willing to allow the politicians to cause a catastrophic world wide depression to bring him down and reinstate our political masters. Long Live Big Brother!

The NRA is determined to grab the opportunity to put profits over public health by convincing dopey Trump to declare gun retailers to be part of the "essential critical infrastructure workforce" just like grocery stores, pharmacies and hospitals. Trump knows how to keep his gun-toting followers in line.

"Over public health": Care to explain that?

The Constitution has survived previous "assaults" in emergencies. Two name two...the Civil War and WWII.
Attempts to block emergency measures by claiming constitutionality is merely an attempt to harm America and aid its enemies.
Monitor all areas relating to the Constitution and its "abuses" by all means. Be prepared to resetconditions when crises pass.

================
There are very powerful forces who are wanting to replace our constitution. Since 14 years ago, when president Obama got into the WH, I noticed right away that he wanted to replace our constitution. His vision for our country was this: "Hope and Change you could believe in". And that started with so many political correctness, but nobody dared to criticize him as he kept on going. He started with our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, and then followed by many others.

Now majority in congress have turned to the farthest left, thus we are so divided at present. There is no meeting of the minds by the two parties. It got worst when Hillary did not win, despite of the $2 billion spent on the campaign and the massive fraudulent v**es cast on her favor. Their bitter end until now are having the vengeance, attacking and accusing the innocent president duly elected by the people.

The world us turning to the farthest left, including the UN, the WHO, and other international organization supposed to follow the original framework they were founded upon.

The change of the demographics, in our country, the influx of millions of people from socialist/c*******t states came desiring to change us similar to where they came from. They run away from there and came to change us.

Who will hold and defend our rights and our legacy of freedom? But the most dedicated people with their faith in God who gave us life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness faithfully hold on. That was the basic foundation of our Constitution. I pray we seek the help of God that we keep it for generations to come. Because we are a country built under the word of God. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Now, we are in the midst of a health crisis. Still I believe God wants us to call on Him. He is faithful and forgiving Lord. May God bless us all.

The influenza p******c of 1917 and 1918 lasted 15 months, the deadliest outbreak in human history, k*****g up to 100 million people worldwide. At the beginning of the p******c, U.S. public officials were lying. The U.S. surgeon general reported "there is no cause for alarm if precautions are observed." Sound familiar? Is that the example you think we should follow? Or would it be better to follow the expert advice, instructions, recommendations, and medical suggestions of our informed leaders and incorporate their rules into our everyday life? They are trying to save us not take away our freedoms.

But I do believe they are trying to take our freedoms away. A rock is reduced to sand one drop of water at a time.

Your correct, not in my lifetime but I would like my grandchildren to have the same opportunities I had growing up in the 40's and 50's. Maybe I dwell too much on that time.

FallenOal. You are right. But our generation and that of your offspring then the grandchildren must fight for that freedom..
On the campuses, at the polls, and in a more drastic way If it becomes necessary.

FallenOal. A rock is reduced to sand.... Not just by drops of water but also careening against other rocks.
If Grand Canyon was a matter of rocks and drops of water there would be much more sand in Grand Canyon.
