China is an economic powerhouse and they are largely responsible for creating many of the goods that go out across the world. The fact that China controls the manufacturing end of the global supply chain has been highlighted as a problem with the outbreak of the C****av***s. The supply chain was brought to a halt due to the damages China suffered during the C****av***s outbreak, as a result, most of the world was left without common goods.

The problem doesn’t end with common goods though after China recovered from the main outbreak they began shipping medical supplies to other nations affected by C****-**. A major issue with these supplies has been the quality of them. Here is why China’s massive manufacturing operation is bad for global stability:
1.) Quality
The quality of goods coming from China is often poor and when it comes to essential goods like medical supplies this is unacceptable. The most prevalent example in the current news cycles are the testing kits for the C****av***s that China is shipping out across the world, these tests have been faulty at best and f**e at worst. Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands have recalled testing kits and masks that came from China over concerns that they were faulty. In a global emergency like this, there is no room for errors. China’s lack of quality insurance is costing lives.
2.) Quantity
The initial outbreak of the C****av***s in China led to a lack of goods globally, this is a lesson we can learn from. The global economy is built around trade between nations, some nations buy a lot of goods and other nations manufacture goods. China is the latter, they manufacture goods for the United States and the world as a whole. While moving manufacturing operations to other countries would likely result in a minor price jump, we have to ask the question of if it will be worth it in the event of another global p******c?
3.) Ethics
The question of ethics is often forgotten in Washington but most Americans weigh ethics in their everyday lives. It is clear that China is host to many unethical manufacturing processes and the c*******t government of China is anything but ethical. The public needs to begin asking ourselves if doing so much business in China is ethical.
4.) Supporting American Companies
The problems that arise with China and it's massive place on the manufacturing side of the supply chain can be partially solved by looking inward. Buying American helps support more Americans with jobs and better economic security. It is time that America reconsiders it's options when it comes to China.

=================
The aforementioned factors are the most that America must pay attention. Other adverse effects for relying China as sources of manufactured goods is China's control. That is what China does to countries all over the world. One example is Italy, Spain. China keeps the technology, so that the country who relies on it, will forever depend on China.

China stole US technology to developing most sensitive products.
Another reasons for our dependency to China is the CHEAP LABOR. The results however is also cheap products. Poor quality.

Our dependency to China for most manufactured good started since several decades ago. It is good that president Trump was able to move many of the manufacturing activities from China to the US.

But the best thing is put all our manufacturing forces within our country, so that we don't need to depend once emergency crisis like this happens.

I would like that US and many other countries affected with the China C****av***s, must hold China accountable for the pains, damages and losses we encounter.

I've said for some fifty years now, that America should always keep a base of strategic construction and
manufactiromg, etc. in America. We, as the leader of the world, can't afford a real shooting war when all of our planes, ships, weapons and munitions are manufactured elsewhere, especially by potential adversaries. I saw that with the exit of our electronics and then computers, Really, who cared if a portable radio was built in Japan. Then it was our cars. Well, now our computers are built everywhere but here, at least in sufficient quantities. And now it is China assembling them and stealing our technology. Steel, aluminum, ship building, and the list goes on. Sure, we build our own war ships, but there are only so many drydocks with a commercial ship building infrastructure. In time of war, there is little to convert to war ships. I always used 50% as a starting point. We never go below 50%. Maybe it should be more. And China, Russia, England, Germany, etc should also do the same. It is just common sense. Every country should have a strategic reserve industry for war needs, or p******cs. But, a healthy part of the economy should also be for trade as has been proven healthy for the economy.

Remember, it wasn't just our troops that won World War II. It was our potential manufacturing base that started to roll. It was our supply lines. As Admiral Yamamoto of Japan said after Pearl Harbor, "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant." Well, we are sleeping again. But we aren't giants now. We can be, but in order to do that we need to rebuild America from within. To Make America Great Again. At 79, I'd h**e to come out of retirement to fight again because these new snowflakes might cry if we went to a real war.
