This is the social divide, the right sees this as an affront that is about ridiculously trying to ineffectively trying to protect yourself, the left sees it about those that don't know they are infectious protecting others just in case.

Try looking out for others for a change.

Well, I'm on the Right and I have spent most of the last 6 weeks in my house. On the rare occasions that I have left the house, I wore a mask. I wear it so as not to infect those I come in contact with out there. I have a really nasty cold.

I think the social divide is in your head and frankly, confirms what I have thought about the L*****t view of their service to the world. No other group I know of has so thoroughly compartmentalized their rights and responsibilities for their personal benefit.

look, I think the right shouldn't wear facemasks at any time, especially in social events like Trump rallies and attending mega-churches. Spread the love so to speak. The left, on the other hand, should wear them at all times to protect themselves from all the germs that the i***ts on the right are spreading.

I commend you right there, and that is what I'm talking about a mask being about, and there is always exceptions to stereotypes, my hat's tipped to you sir.

The thing that would protect Americans the most isn’t a mask, it is a ball gag for Trump.

Did anyone think to ask those kids who piled up together for spring break, what party or ideology they belonged to? What is the breakdown of C***D19 cases, how many liberals vs. conservatives infected? Do dems die at a higher rate than repubs? Are there more republican nurses than dem nurses?

Trying to create divisions along partisan, ideological or religious lines during a ( real ) National emergency - is as stupid as discussing ratings for your daily news conferences.

Less a social divide than an information problem. Many experts recommend masks for protection and to avoid t***smitting while the CDC and the Surgeon General are still saying wearing them for protection is worse than not wearing a mask at all, but they should be worn if you are infected and need to interact with other people. I would say if you have a mask and want to wear it, go ahead but not if you are walking around on your ranch in Wyoming or on a deserted beach or running around the block in the suburbs or driving all by yourself in your car or any other instance in which you will not come anywhere near other human beings; save the mask when for when it is actually needed.
