Daniella Bassi, Assistant Editor at the Mises Institute, on 03/12/2020 publishes an article entitled: “As Government Authorities Urge Panic Over C****av***s One Doctor Breaks Rank”. This article begins by saying the following: “Everywhere one looks there seems to be panic about the c****av***s. The Centers for Disease Prevention, the World Health Organization, and now the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases almost seems to be encouraging a frenzied response with their statements on the illness. Luckily Dr. Jeremy Samuel Faust, an emergency physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an instructor at Harvard Medical School, has recently offered a more measured take on the trajectory of the v***s.” Below, the author of the article offers this Doctor’s criteria in this regard and whoever wants to know it can consult the mentioned article.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Her article continues as follows: “Another levelheaded take on the illness has been offered by Dr. William Schaffner, Professor of Preventive Medicine in the Department of Health Policy as well as Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. (It can be seen a video where he exposes his opinions).--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The disparity between these doctors' response and the hysteria being fueled by governments and health organizations across the globe should make us wonder about the latter's intentions and the t***h of their statements.” -------
I do not intend to do an analysis on the v***s itself; and I agree that if there is a disease, we should try to eliminate it; but taking care not to create a worse evil than the one we are trying to eliminate. ----------------------
Ignorance is one of the great evils that affects humanity. Lack of information produces ignorance, but prejudice information can be worse than ignorance. An intense fear (terror) is being created at the moment with the information offered by the media about the C****av***s (C****-**), leading humanity to a kind of collective suicide, since extreme measures go against the economy. Developed countries and those in ways of development have a degree of civilization that they need to maintain, because the axiom: "civilization creates needs" is real. Those who have suffered a power outage know the anxiety caused by a lack of water or electricity. Darkness in a blackout, heat due to lack of air conditioning or cold for lack of heating, no communication and entertainment media such as TV, radio, cinema, computers, etc., without mentioning hunger, could be possible with a broken economy. All these needs produce extreme anxiety and dissatisfaction, which ultimately generate hatred, fertile ground for violence.
It is necessary to investigate if the v***s was promoted naturally and spontaneously or if it happened for other reasons. Although China and Russia along with other countries have created the BRICS, since they intend to destroy the hegemony of the dollar, I don't think this situation is convenient for them, because it is detrimental to any government and to the world in general.
The tendency of certain organizations to impose their policies should not be ignored, regardless of the cost that these may have for humanity. The measures that would be imposed to combat "c*****e c****e" (which are detrimental to the economy, blaming anthropogenic carbon dioxide), which had previously been unsuccessfully proposed as "g****l w*****g," are public knowledge. It is noteworthy how any means are used, supporting wild issues such as: g****r ideology, feminism, indigenism, identity politics and others that are notorious, to reach an end; and this v***s can be a new means to achieve what these shadow forces intend, considering that in the same way that a political party can be dominated, control information getting d******n of the media, influence international organizations such as the UN or the EU, besides putting pressure on centers of instruction, education and culture; a v***s can be spread or being created by nature, be used to bring humanity to its knees and thus be able to manage it.
China is under the rule of a powerful group that was enthroned through c*******m. When the Soviets C*******ts tried to dominate them, the Chinese, being c*******ts (they have used this ideology as a weapon), accused the Soviets of hegemony; in view of that, I do not think the shadow forces are dominating that group.
It is noteworthy how the v***s has spread. The city of W***n is located in the very center of the most populated part of China, and the same pattern appears in other countries. In Spain the center is in Madrid and in Italy in the north, its most populated part. However, countries that border China (the central focus of the v***s), such as India, Taiwan and Russia, have not been affected like other countries. India has almost as much population as China and is far from being a reference model for health care, so it would be a favorable place for the development of the v***s. Russia has an extensive border with China and is also not heavily affected. Thousands of people travel, coming and going, between China and Taiwan and there is no notable presence of the v***s on that island. It is also noteworthy that Africa and Hispanic South America are not much affected. However, the v***s is strongly developed in South Korea, Japan and western Europe, very important centers of the world economy. On the other hand, it should be considered as very convenient for detractors of the USA; that Iran, a declared enemy of the latter (which Iranian theocracy considers the Great Satan), is strongly attacked by the v***s, and Turkey (ally of the USA), with a 500 kms. border with that country, is almost unaffected.
The economic situation in the United States was flourishing and the shadow forces had lost ground, their situation had become critical, and it was necessary for them to create chaos and pit the country against its trading partners. These forces would like to reverse the situation created by the signing of a new trade agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as the agreement signed by China and the United States, which ended the existing trade dispute between these countries. China and the United States should be considered at this time to be interdependent, they need each other. What hurts China hurts the United States. Of course, China needs more from the United States than the United States from China, but to harm China would be for the United States to take out an eye to see China blind. If the shadow forces are behind this v***s campaign, they expect China and the United States to accuse each other of spreading the v***s; and if possible, go to war.
The reality is that this v***s is nothing more than a new form of pneumonia, comparable to a common cold, from which thousands of people have die annually in the past years, worst of all is the fear that the media has developed in people, which does not obey an objective cause.
The important thing in this whole issue, promoted by the C****av***s, is to react and oppose those who promote fear and harm the country's economy. I think that borders by air, sea and land must continue to be controlled; but that we should go as soon as possible to the normalization of daily life, taking care of the health of the elderly, especially those with serious health problems.
It has been shown that border control is very important. When the President originally spoke of banning the entry of people from China, l*****ts began to say that the measure was xenophobic and r****t. Later, when it was found to be necessary, they said with great impudence that the pertinent measures had not been taken. In addition, we have been able to verify the mismanagement in Italy and Spain (where is some form of socialism) in relation to this v***s and that socialism is not a guarantee that the health system works correctly, with which it would be better for Bernie Sanders and Ocasio Cortez not continue praising that system.
The experience gained is that there are issues on which the security of the country depends, which cannot be left to the mercy of other countries; and that although it is not recommended to go to autarky, it is necessary to guarantee survival in case of any eventuality.
Mr. Obama's administration created what is called "politically correct" (PC), avoiding the use of words that could be offensive to certain persons, and that was not considered as censorship, although in itself it had a certain similarity. I believe that this administration should be based on the same principle and establish that it is not politically correct to create fear in the population with falsehoods that threaten the integrity and stability of the nation; and that Congress must legislate on this matter, because although the first amendment to the Constitution must be respected, it should not be accepted infringements that endanger the economy and people's lives.
