What is the Carona V***s and why they tell us those various things about beating it.

Thanks to Dr. Karen Scheer for posting this:

From Johns Hopkins University :

* The v***s is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (RNA) covered by a protective layer of lipid (fat), which, when absorbed by the cells of the ocular, nasal or buccal mucosa, changes their genetic code. (mutation) and convert them into aggressor and multiplier cells.

* Since the v***s is not a living organism but a protein molecule, it is not k**led, but decays on its own. The disintegration time depends on the temperature, humidity and type of material where it lies.

* The v***s is very fragile; the only thing that protects it is a thin outer layer of fat. That is why any soap or detergent is the best remedy, because the foam CUTS the FAT (that is why you have to rub so much: for 20 seconds or more, to make a lot of foam). By dissolving the fat layer, the protein molecule disperses and breaks down on its own.

* HEAT melts fat; this is why it is so good to use water above 25 degrees Celsius (77°F) for washing hands, clothes and everything. In addition, hot water makes more foam and that makes it even more useful.

* Alcohol or any mixture with alcohol over 65% DISSOLVES ANY FAT, especially the external lipid layer of the v***s.

* Any mix with 1 part bleach and 5 parts water directly dissolves the protein, breaks it down from the inside.

* Oxygenated water helps long after soap, alcohol and chlorine, because peroxide dissolves the v***s protein, but you have to use it pure and it hurts your skin.

* NO BACTERICIDE SERVES. The v***s is not a living organism like bacteria; they cannot k**l what is not alive with anthobiotics, but quickly disintegrate its structure with everything said.

* NEVER shake used or unused clothing, sheets or cloth. While it is glued to a porous surface, it is very inert and disintegrates only between 3 hours (fabric and porous), 4 hours (copper, because it is naturally antiseptic; and wood, because it removes all the moisture and does not let it peel off and disintegrates). ), 24 hours (cardboard), 42 hours (metal) and 72 hours (plastic). But if you shake it or use a feather duster, the v***s molecules float in the air for up to 3 hours, and can lodge in your nose.

* The v***s molecules remain very stable in external cold, or artificial as air conditioners in houses and cars. They also need moisture to stay stable, and especially darkness. Therefore, dehumidified, dry, warm and bright environments will degrade it faster.

* UV LIGHT on any object that may contain it breaks down the v***s protein. For example, to disinfect and reuse a mask is perfect. Be careful, it also breaks down collagen (which is protein) in the skin, eventually causing wrinkles and skin cancer.

* The v***s CANNOT go through healthy skin.

* Vinegar is NOT useful because it does not break down the protective layer of fat.

* NO SPIRITS, NOR VODKA, serve. The strongest vodka is 40% alcohol, and you need 65%.

* LISTERINE IF IT SERVES! It is 65% alcohol.

* The more confined the space, the more concentration of the v***s there can be. The more open or naturally ventilated, the less.

* This is super said, but you have to wash your hands before and after touching mucosa, food, locks, knobs, switches, remote control, cell phone, watches, computers, desks, TV, etc. And when using the bathroom.

* You have to HUMIDIFY HANDS DRY from so much washing them, because the molecules can hide in the micro cracks. The thicker the moisturizer, the better.

* Also keep your NAILS SHORT so that the v***s does not hide there.

Nature often does wh**ever is necessary in order to make the most number of experts wrong.
Robert Preston: Crisis in the Red Zone.

The Story of the Deadliest Ebola Outbreak in History, and of the Outbreaks to Come.

Curiously, 2 months ago, before this c****av***s outbreak, I read this book on a whim. Saw it on a shelf at the library and was intrigued. It is a chiller and a thriller, a terrifying account of the insidious lethality of pathogenic v***ses.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • An urgent wake-up call about the future of emerging v***ses and a gripping account of the doctors and scientists fighting to protect us, told through the story of the deadly 2013–2014 Ebola epidemic

“Crisis in the Red Zone reads like a thriller. That the story it tells is all true makes it all more terrifying.”—Elizabeth Kolbert, Pulitzer Prize–winning author of The Sixth Extinction

From the #1 bestselling author of The Hot Zone, now a National Geographic original miniseries . . .

This time, Ebola started with a two-year-old child who likely had contact with a wild creature and whose entire family quickly fell ill and died. The ensuing global drama activated health professionals in North America, Europe, and Africa in a desperate race against time to contain the v***l wildfire. By the end—as the v***s mutated into its deadliest form, and spread farther and faster than ever before—30,000 people would be infected, and the dead would be spread across eight countries on three continents.

In this taut and suspenseful medical drama, Richard Preston deeply chronicles the p******c, in which we saw for the first time the specter of Ebola jumping continents, crossing the Atlantic, and infecting people in America. Rich in characters and conflict—physical, emotional, and ethical—Crisis in the Red Zone is an immersion in one of the great public health calamities of our time.

Preston writes of doctors and nurses in the field putting their own lives on the line, of government bureaucrats and NGO administrators moving, often fitfully, to try to contain the outbreak, and of pharmaceutical companies racing to develop drugs to combat the v***s. He also explores the charged ethical dilemma over who should and did receive the rare doses of an experimental treatment when they became available at the peak of the disaster.

Crisis in the Red Zone makes clear that the outbreak of 2013–2014 is a harbinger of further, more severe outbreaks, and of emerging v***ses heretofore unimagined—in any country, on any continent. In our ever more interconnected world, with roads and towns cut deep into the jungles of equatorial Africa, v***ses both familiar and undiscovered are being unleashed into more densely populated areas than ever before.

The more we discover about the virosphere, the more we realize its deadly potential. Crisis in the Red Zone is an exquisitely timely book, a stark warning of v***l outbreaks to come.

The most ignorant fools on this planet are those who think they can hold one man accountable for the outbreak, spread, and consequences of a lethal v***s. Crisis in the Red Zone dispenses with that stupid notion.

Thanks for posting. I remember a movie, "Outbreak" with Dustin Hoffman. A man made v***s, American military, infects a monkey and almost causes the bombing and annihilation of a small town until Hoffman saves the day. I'm sure you can find it on Netflix. Might be a good way to relax this evening.

Excellent post - now please help answer these questions:

1) if the v***s is not "alive," that implies that there is only a finite number of them (like bitcoin) since they cannot reproduce --- correct, or wrong?

2) How did this thing get manufactured? What will limit the production process?

3) Why aren't more resources being used to disassemble this thing?

4) How do we prevent this thing from happening on our planet in the future?

V***ses do replicate. They hijack the cell's inner workings and manufacture more v***ses. In some v***ses, as the cell fills up with more and more v***ses, the cell dies or lyses, breaks apart, releasing the v***ses to infect other cells.
