The Medical Supply Chain Is In Total Chaos, Just Like Toilet Paper

This did not have to happen if the complete supply chain had been completely commandeered and organized as to priority needs around the country weeks ago. P******c response teams know this, they know how to do it. Past administrations developed instruction guidelines and plans for how to do it so that the process could go as smoothly as possible. The chaos in the supply chain is proof that trump has nobody that knows how to do this.

Every state facing crisis hotspot pressure on hospital systems needs to know that their needs are scheduled into a priority coordinated process that will be seeing to it that they have what they need when they need it. When there is confidence in the management of the supplies, and administrators can see it is being well coordinated, there are no shortages. Shortages are artificial just like the run on toilet paper where people get a hundred times more than they need in any realistic short term. Supplies are stocked for worst case scenarios that they may never need, which jams up where they really are needed.

This is an absolutely critical thing the federal government has to do, and we are seeing what happens when is isn't done at all.

Governor Inslee said in a press briefing that his state had had multiple confirmed purchase orders for millions of supplies yanked out from under him. So who as an entity has the clout to tell a manufacturer or distributor to disregard a confirmed purchase order so as to send those supplies somewhere else? I would say it's a good guess that it was the federal government as in FEMA. So at the point the government is going to block and interfere with a state's order, they better have a really good game plan and be planning on covering everybody's needs on at least a critical need basis.

Right now it has a look that governors trump doesn't like are being actually deprived even of making their own purchases, and given inadequate numbers while the first news out was that Florida got everything it wanted from FEMA while three other states got fractions.

This is going to be the focus of an investigation as it should be, and we have every right to know how FEME is coordinating critical medical supplies.
