He doesn't like socialism and wants to avoid doing that very thing, nationalizing companies, no matter how short of duration it is for. Voluntary cooperation from them is what he wants and if they are truly American companies they will cooperate and do the right thing. If not, "No soup for you!"

Yes I also think Trump was waiting for the private sector to jump in. He knows that Cuomo could go door to door with his camera s***es and knock on triplex doors down fifth and sixth avenue and come back with 5 billion.
But Cuomo don't try. He sits and whines.
No one decided that
nyc was going to be reimbursed for lost revenue.
Talk about greed. Cuomo is lucky Trump doesn't call out all the people and companies that will donate and support Cuomo's re -e******n but can't pony up now.
