Won't you please join me? Now I am more inclined than ever to call it the "Chinese V***s." When we let the l*****ts indoctrinators control language, they will try harder to control everything. However, I don't see what the problem is. Aren't the colleges closed down? San Diego State made students move out of their dorms last week. What are other schools doing? Sheltering in place?

Major Universities Ban The Use Of This Phrase For C****-** V***s…Seriously?

Does it get any dumber than this?

Diversity officials for the University of California system, wh**ever those are, have banned students and faculty from using the word “Chinese v***s” to describe a v***s from China that is currently ravaging the globe.

A statement from the Council of Chief Diversity Officers instructs everyone in the system to “reject r****m, sexism, xenophobia and all h**eful or intolerant speech, both in person and online.”

“Be an ‘up-stander,’ and discourage others from engaging in such behavior,” they declare.

“Do not use terms such as ‘Chinese v***s’ or other terms which cast either intentional or unintentional projections of hatred toward Asian communities,” the statement reads.

Also, they declare, “Do not allow the use of these terms by others.”

“Allow”?? What does this even mean, are you suppose to conducts a citizens campus arrest if someone notes the origin of the C****-** v***s?

They also make some helpful suggestions, like to “be inclusive and remember that everyone has different circumstances.”

The statement also comes with helpful instructions for conducting classes online to accommodate the meeting of health guidelines, but recommends not to criticize students for “casual attire.”

“Remember that people may be operating without resources and access to man material items and services,” the document notes.

The Daily Wire accused the university system of “bowing to current political correctness.”

The document goes as far as to spoon-feed people what they should say instead of “Chinese v***s,” instructing them instead to “refer to the v***s as either ‘C****-**’ or ‘c****av***s’ in both oral and written communications.”

Included in the statement is a Joint Statement from the Vice Chancellor – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and the Interim Vice Chancellor – Student Affairs at UC Davis titled “Rejecting C****av***s Xenophobia.” (Can you believe that’s a job??)

This statement reads: “A core of our mission at UC Davis Health is, of course, to advance health. Yet, health, privilege and bias are often intertwined. In recent weeks, we have seen an example of this in the alarming rise in bigotry and xenophobia against Asian communities. For many Asians, the r****m is not new, but it has been emboldened as Asians are scapegoated for the c****av***s epidemic. This is doubly painful as Chinese communities also bear the weight of most of the lives lost.”

As the Daily Wire reported, Jerry Kang, the vice chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at UCLA, said: “you can see why I’m concerned about the use of another name, ‘W***n v***s,’ which reflects both intellectual laziness and stereotyping.”

“It’s lazy in the sense that there are more precise names for the novel c****av***s, SARS-CoV-2, and the disease that it causes, C****-**. We’re smart enough to learn the proper nomenclature,” he said.

WND notes:

WND reported last week two members of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission had issued a rebuttal to their panel’s majority statement warning of “growing anti-Asian r****m and xenophobia” in response to the c****av***s outbreak.

Commission members Peter Kirsanow and Gail Her**t, who regularly dissent with their colleagues’ positions, said they certainly agree that C****-** “is no excuse for anyone to attack or insult individuals of Asian descent and that when such acts rise to the level of criminal behavior, law enforcement should immediately intervene.”

“But that’s obvious to just about everyone in America,” they said. “The rare exception is unlikely to read the Commission’s statement, much less be persuaded by it.”

Kirsanow and Her**t challenge the panel’s claim that the relatively small number of incidents cited — mostly involving misbehavor by children and teenagers — indicates there is wave of racially motivated attacks.

How can any university BAN free speech? I wonder how that's working out for them.

Now you have Italy, they got caught off guard, they were worried about their tourist industry...so being ahead of the US they warn us, we made the mistake of downplaying it for too many weeks and we are k*****g off our old people...

But the country like the US that has a few weeks, that can see what happened when a country's leader ignores it, and we can see countries that very effectively contained it and saved what will be thousands of lives, but can't look at the reality and chooses to believe said leader that got this criminally wrong for two months...that is epic award winning Darwinism in action.

And the country has enough diversity of government control that we will be seeing the difference between states that responded early and those that still refuse to. We'll see if we are as smart as the Italians that at least got it once they realized that they had gotten it as wrong, as trump has.

We are seeing lower limits, and it will be another four weeks and the right will be seeing which side has it right...we'll see
