No Admittance and a Tough Decision

Splended Isolation is the order of the day. No one comes in, and no one goes out! Except, of course, several close friends and our housekeeper. She is indispensable, and the friends bring us things we need. I suppose there is a risk in this, but we do let them in--and out!

Trump has set a goal to open up the economy by Easter, perhaps in stages and in areas that are best off. Few believe this goal will be met, but there are massive reasons to do so, else we will fall into a far deeper depression. This in turn would result in many of the disadvantaged and poor suffering and dyeing from all sorts of problems.

So it is a tradeoff between more deaths from the v***s and deaths from anything from starvation to diseases if we don't open the economy. The basis for this decision is not at all well established, simply because we haven't enough of the right data to make a justifiable decision either way.

It is Trump's call after full consultation with his team, and it cannot be a winner for him. He will be blamed for the deaths either way.

I feel for him in this damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.
