Mc Connell won't send it to him for a signature. Same old game from the Democrats

Bureaucrats use “emergency” power against gun owners!

No sooner had the C****-** hysteria hit, local anti-gun politicians rushed to capitalize.

First, counties in Colorado stopped issuing permits for gun sales.

Then, mayors in both Illinois and Louisiana issued emergency proclamations claiming the right to ban gun sales.

The list goes on and on.

Georgia courts shutting down the concealed permit process.

More and more cities and counties arbitrarily shutting down gun ownership.

Every day, it seems my staff hands me another stack of examples just as outrageous as these.

I’m sure you’re asking, “What does gun control have to do with fighting the spread of a v***s?”

NOTHING!

Just like when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) got caught red-handed trying to cram taxpayer funding for one of her biggest political backers in a recent emergency funding bill, it’s a s**m.

It’s just another example of anti-gun politicians using anything and everything they can dream up as an excuse to come after our Second Amendment freedoms!

The worst part about it is, the more you and I stay silent, the MORE madness we’ll see from politicians at EVERY level of government!

That’s why I’m counting on you to sign your NO GUN CONTROL POWER GRABS petition IMMEDIATELY.

As you’ll see, this petition urges politicians -- federal, state and local -- to oppose EVERY attempt to impose gun control!

Sadly, without your action, I’m worried about where this could be headed.

As soon as this assault on our Second Amendment freedoms began, I instructed our attorneys to look for ways to challenge the worst of these local anti-gun schemes in court.

Just think back to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when the New Orleans Superintendent of Police announced, “No one is allowed to be armed. We’re going to take all the guns.”

With a fawning national media and politicians in BOTH parties starting to like the feeling of watching so many Americans do what they’re told, I worry where that could lead.

Last December, BOTH parties signed off on a deal to hand $25 million of your taxpayer dollars to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study gun control.

Both organizations have made no secret of their hatred of our Second Amendment freedoms.

And for years now, the Gun Control Lobby has been working to redefine gun violence as a “public health crisis.”

Why?

Most likely to enable the government to use the same broad powers we’re seeing used against C****-** against our Second Amendment freedoms.

KS Passes Resolution Limiting Governor’s Emergency Powers to Seize Ammo and Property

NRA-ILM KS
NRA-ILM reports that HCR 5025 no longer allows authorities to restrict the Second Amendment.
U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- The NRA-ILA just announced that the previously worrisome Kansas bill HCR 5025, has been amended to include language that limits the emergency powers of the KS state government. Previously, the bill could have been interpreted to allow authorities to restrict the sale and t***sportation of firearms, as well as confiscate arms and ammunition during the c****av***s p******c. Thankfully this was remedied and the changes subsequently approved on Thursday. More information below from the NRA-ILA.

“Late Thursday night, the Kansas Legislature passed House Committee Resolution 5025. This measure prevents Governor Laura Kelly from using emergency powers to seize ammunition or limit the sale of firearms during the current C***d ** outbreak. HCR 5025 was overwhelmingly supported in both the House and the Senate. Thank you to those legislators who v**ed in favor of this important legislation.

The Legislature has now officially adjourned and is planning to reconvene on April 27th. Your NRA-ILA will continue to monitor this and keep you updated on any changes.

Stay-tuned to NRA-ILA Alerts for more information on issues affecting your Second Amendment rights.”

The change came in the form of the following clause being added to HCR 5025:

Be it further resolved: That, for the purposes of this ratification, the Governor shall not have the power or authority to temporarily or permanently seize, or authorize seizure of, any ammunition or to suspend or limit the sale, dispensing or t***sportation of firearms or ammunition pursuant to K.S.A. 2019 Supp. 48-925(c)(8) or any other
executive authority.

This is great news for supporters of the Second Amendment, as any legislation that clearly defines the limits of a government's power as it applies to firearms is a good thing. Especially with all the abuse of power occurring across America in the wake of the CORVID-19 outbreak.

Why, it has everything to do with it. Remember Ebola? Remember that Obama asked Congress for 12 billion to help fight it? Remember that Congress gave him 6 billion....................along with a whole list of s**t that had nothing to do with Ebola and challenged him to veto it and get nothing?

Both sides have been playing this game since long before we were born.

Keep buying ammo

I’m hoping this V***s H**x is the flashpoint to get this thing started finally....

The right to bear arm is not just about protecting your home and family from criminals. It is mainly about protecting your home and family from criminals in Government and Foreign Invaders.

We must never give ground on a single proposal to limit our rights to protect ourselves from all enemies, foreign and domestic (especially politicians). The minute they gain ground on one single issue, that is out of the way and they can start on the next issue. Never give them that issue. They are the main reason we have the Second Amendment.

Logically Right
