I’ve been reading a lot on the effects of poverty. The way the world is fighting this v***s may be worse than the disease.
Can we afford this? The Guardian reported because of austerity measures in the UK related to socialized healthcare 130,000 preventable deaths occurred. If we destroy the economy to fight this v***s more will die in the long run than the flu will take now. Depression and suicide will become a real problem.

Yep... Very good point...

Get it contained, then make sure the economy is taken care of...

Glad things are starting up here again...

Although there has been some confusion as different provinces and cities are doing different things....

The reaction seems like group think. How dare you to disagree with the government. Just read where the Netherlands is keeping businesses open and putting resources to those most at risk.

For a long time, I've suspected that a reckoning was coming.

My father warned us long ago but we had no idea about how the event would manifest.

The Bible prophecies are ancient warnings which serve as proof that anyone who can read and comprehend has already been warned of this tribulation

Well now it has come upon us like a thief in the night and suddenly the world has been cast into the shadows of dread.

We are now witnessing how easily our freedom and our peace of mind may be c*********d and possibly forfeited indefinitely.

I thank God that I chose to follow my father's forewarning.

And I'm sorry for anyone who is now stuck in a city like New York or San Francisco.

You got that right, bro. My time in a large city ended 10 years ago. I left and never looked back. I'm in God's country now, 10,000 square miles of mountains and high desert populated by 4500 people, mostly Christians. And we are heavily armed, both materially and spiritually.

I think some "strategies" are and will be employed but it looks to me like Trump just decided NOW is the time to bankrupt the Fed...

Negative interest rates on a fiat currency system means money flowing back in our direction...

Checks to people and not banks drawn on a debt that's already waaaay past being payable...

Trump has a trick or two still and we'll do OK but things will never be the way they were.

We're going through a time of great change. Petrodollar is history. Our protection racket in the ME is closed down, thank goodness!

Sounds like Yerington...'cept we're a little too close to Reno.

Still, we're isolated enough to be hard to sneak up on and well armed enough for it to be dangerous business.

In one breath, you talk about how most of the people who live where you live now are Christians and how you're living "God's country," and then, in the next breath, you brag about how you're all "heavily armed, both materially and spiritually."

When you say "heavily armed, materially," I presume you mean that you and your neighbors have stockpiled guns and ammo.

Tell me something, do you always boast about your weapons of death to show what God-fearing Christians you are?

Tell me something else: do you think Jesus would have carried a gun?

I think they are boasting about their weapons of defense, not weapons of death. If Jesus was here today I doubt he would carry a gun since he did not carry a weapon 2000 years ago. However, His disciples were armed with swords and such to protect against robbers on the roads. Since you are not Jesus, not a Congressperson with armed bodyguards, you may need a weapon to defend and protect you and your family. What makes you think Christians do not need self-defensive measures and weapons. Neither Jesus nor God will stop someone who wants to inflict harm on you. And I don't think most Christians fear God, either. You have God-given free-will to choose what you do. Use it to defend yourself because there are always those who wish to harm you. Such is the nature of evil.

He's obviously not Jesus and neither are you.
