Makes a good point bout using accumulative charts... Those are stupid... Have neteorks been using them?

Excellent article. I would mention another issue with reporting, their source, CDC, has a side note that most people don't pay attention..."Data include both confirmed and presumptive positive cases of C****-**"

For your consideration: in the USA:
Flu
51 million infected
650 hospitalized
55,000 dead

15,219 infected including "presumed positive" cases
201 dead
No indication of how many are currently hospitalized

People need to read this and think more about how the numbers are presented instead of dwelling on doom and gloom.
