He's a typical lefty. Talks a good game behind his keyboard. Look I get why most people are anonymous on any public forum. Lotta nuts out there. I'm not, simply because I don't care. Don't have kids at home that I would have to worry about and my wife is not scared of anything. I've talked to many OPPer's on the phone and think the world of them. Would you say the same about Obama? He actually said there was no need for him to join the military because "Keep in mind that I graduated in 1979. The Vietnam War had come to an end. We weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point. And so, it's not an option that I ever decided to pursue."

Piss ant. That's the best you have? You're a keyboard warrior. I'll give you my address so you can call me a piss ant in person. No American had an obligation to serve. Especially after Nam. They are the most screwed up group I help because they were the worst treated. They did what they were told by higher ups and came home to lower downs calling them names. I certainly wasn't one of them. Many of my older friends went to Nam. I feel they were mistreated by the government from the jump. You sound nothing like any of them. doesn't mean you didn't serve but saying you did but not proving it means nothing.

Sure I think everyone should serve just like in Israel its gives youth much needed discipline and time to really think about what they want to do moving forward with their lives.
What I and every Marine and service man will tell you we learned thing's that helped us throughout our lives.And I'm forever grateful for that training.

Only about a half of one percent serve in the military. According to lonewuss the other 99.5 % of Americans aren't good Americans. I never held not serving against Obama. In peace time joining the military has to be a calling since the pay sucks. By the time I graduated high school there was no war, no draft and I had a wrestling scholarship to college. Only reason I went. I read a great book on the Vietnam War. it's called A Great Shining Lie. Great read.

We finally found something we agree on. The number of people I know that were headed down the wrong path until they were put in the military has convinced me we should never have done away with the draft.

WTF are you talking about? I said nothing about VA hospitals. I said on an anonymous website you can claim anything you want. Why would I take your word for anything without proof? I've already said if you served I respect your Service and I do. I just don't respect you and that is simply because of the constant and often times dumb vitriol you spew.
