He's right, he's not a shipping clerk. His job is to clear the path so those shipping clerks can do what they need to do in their jobs. He has been doing that since he was elected.

He's promising millions of masks and tens of thousands of respirators, hospital beds, as well as temporary hospitals--all which need to flow NOW from his fingers outwards but aren't because he doesn't know how to do the job that he was elected to do.

He had Pence in St. Paul convincing 3M to make more masks and now they are proudly proclaiming that is their current goal. That was not their goal before the Pence visit.

Nothing can flow if they have not yet been manufactured. Manufacturers are being pushed, just not bludgeoned. They don't flow from the President's fingers in any case. A problem with the respirators is that the circuit boards that run them come from China. You can credit your g*******ts for that shortage.

You expect everything immediately. Try understanding the complications faced in turning an aircraft carrier around.

For decades the US allowed China to manufacture medical supplies and other medical/pharmaceutical products due to cheap labor and overhead. President Trump inherited these types of activities. Without anticipating this most infectious v***s could invade our land from China.

Now we are caught in this situation, shortage of these medical supplies in this crisis. But this fault PeterS was carried from the prior years. Obama, was in charged during those year. I hears/read somewhere that Italy was not using 'aggressive medical care on those over age 65 - but I have not been able to confirm this.

Since the early seventies, we have been outsourcing both our jobs and our manufacturing capacity. I have commented on this numerous times. Some 95% of our Ibuprofen comes from China. That's one small example. Things that WE used to make now have to be imported from China, India, Vietnam, and Central America. This is what happens when you send all of your manufacturing capacity elsewhere. This is not Trump's fault. It has been building for fifty years. For that time it has been ignored, just like immigration enforcement, and now both of them are biting us in the ass.
If you want to blame someone, blame the Corporate critters who outsourced our jobs and manufacturing; the self-serving douche bag politicians who allowed it to happen, and the stupid ass v**ers who kept re-electing said douche bags.

It's probably far more complicated than that.

** Corporate critters: Their job is to make a profit. If labor (usually) is cheaper overseas, then naturally it makes "profit" sense to go there. They then sell their product at a lower price, and then the consumer (American) buys it instead of the higher priced, American made product.

** Politician: "Allow" it to happen? And what are they supposed to do?

** V**ers: The v**ers are the one's who purchase the cheaper, foreign made products.

So what would be your solution?

It kind of seems to me that it doesn't make much difference what President Trump does to mitigate this v***s, those who don't like it will say it wasn't done soon enough. Wouldn't it be nice if some of those being critical would jump in and do something constructive. I think that most of them don't really know what the best procedure is but being a Monday morning quarterback makes them feel important.
